Are You Ready to Walk Through the Fire?

Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. James 1:12, New International Version

Are you ready to walk through the fire in order to receive a enduring fantastic reward? I think in every Christians life we must all walk through the fire of noxious, painful, ugly torturous trails in order to have a closer harmonious relationship with Jehovah. It is necessary in order to burn off our abhorrent habits which God finds so despicable.

For me it was to this day the most horrid and painful experience of my life, and I am no stranger to pain or sorrow. There was someone with whom I was very close to. This relationship created a wedge between God and me. He allowed this person to become mean, cruel and spiteful to me. It drove me from them It was the most agonizing experience I have had to endure. For four months I cried out to God to explain why this was happening, what had I done to deserve this? After some good Christian counseling I understood this was a abusive person I needed to shed from my life. After distancing myself from this person God revealed to me how I could use this horrible experience to help others who are walking through that hell that is not their fault and to help guide them to be healed. Being a teacher I saw many abused children who hated their parents. I taught them it was not their fault, to forgive their parents and to distance themselves from the abusive situations they were in. Sorry to say their parents believe they are gods who must be obeyed and the children must be in subjection to them. They say it is their custom, their tradition. I say they are full of crap and are trying to use their children as slaves to serve them. Many of the children have had some very deep wounds healed, but because their parents are stubborn and unrepenting the children distance themselves from them. Their lives are much better now. This is my way of serving the Lord. It is difficult, but so rewarding when I see the children healed. As well it is good to know that when I stand before Christ He will say :” Well done good and faithful servant.” How about you? Have you gone through the fire yet? Are you going through a fire now? If you are going through a fire now, believe me Jehovah will use this experience so you can use it to help others in wonderful and enriching ways you never dreamed of.

Prayer: Jesus Immanuel, (God who is with us) I am going through a terrible fire now, yet I no that when I come out of it you will use it in wonderful wondrous ways. Even though I feel You are not there I know You are. I pray You use this experience in order for me to help others. In Your wonderful name I pray. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.
