Are we there yet? A look into End Times Prophecy

Updated on October 13, 2010

So are we there yet?

When I was growing up my mom and grandma would always say, "We are living in the last days" or "Time is winding up!", "Get your life right". After I was saved, I finally understood what they were trying to tell me.

We are without a doubt living in very significant times, times that are uncertain for the non-believer and exciting for the redeemed.

For years nearly every generation have claimed the world was coming to the end. Which has lead to a world of scoffers. The bible predicts scoffers in 2 Peter 3:3-7". . .there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts and saying, Where is the promise of his coming? . . . For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God . . . Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men."

But are we finally truly in those last days? I believe we are.

Jesus was asked, "What will be the signs of your coming, and of the end of the age?"

Wars, disease, economic crisis, the state of Israel, and moral decline. This is the biblical recipe for the return of Jesus Christ.
