Aries Man and Aries Woman

Updated on March 25, 2011

Tossing an Aries man and Aries woman together can go one of two ways. It can either lead to the sexiest, most thrilling combination possible in terms of zodiacal romance, or it can lead to the most unstable and explosive joining anyone could hope to avoid. And no, there really isn't a good deal of gray area involved with this pair, because that's the very nature of Aries. Whether or not it goes one way or the other depends on a number of other factors such as the other planetary placements in their respective natal charts. But the good thing about the Aries / Aries relationship is that you can pretty much suss the outcome within the first dates. If you're zinging with chemistry, it'll probably work well. If you're at each others' throats by the time the check hits the tablecloth, you should probably reconsider.

Aries Man

The Aries male is full of ego, pride, charisma, charm, fire and loads of other goodies. He's passionate about many things, and that includes the woman in his life. Assuming he's only got one, as they do attract loads of women quite easily. That's not to say he can't be faithful -- he can. But only if he's utterly smitten with you. If he's not, Aries woman will need to keep him on his toes and thereby interested, because once he loses interest he can be easily distracted. Aries man is also the jealous type when his ego is less than sure of itself, and since Aries woman's independence can make him feel a bit insecure, there is room for lots of jealousy here. That said, if the combination is well-suited, he can be the white knight in shining armour that you always thought was just myth. His energy levels and testosterone levels will stay high for years and years to come, so you'll always feel like you're living with a man in the prime of his life, even when he's 70.

Aries Woman

Your Aries man is not going to be too keen on your independent streak, nor your stubborn refusal to accept his help when he thinks you need it. He's the man, and even though he's attracted to your feisty nature, he does need to feel needed. The best way you can let him feel this is by letting him help you from time to time. Yes, you can probably get the job done without him -- and probably more efficiently -- but he really doesn't know that and you'd be doing your relationship a favor by humoring him now and then. Let him rescue you a few times here and there and he'll feel as though the relationship is balanced. But if you insist on being 50/50 in absolutely every way, as so many Aries women are prone to do, you may alienate him and bruise his ego to the point he feels useless and not needed. And once that happens, it's all downhill from there.
