Aries Man and Pisces Woman

Updated on March 6, 2011

The Aries man is full of fire and passion, and the Pisces woman is water. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to guess what happens when you put these two in the same room, does it? Well, maybe it does, cos it's not a guaranteed fail, you know. This could work out if either one of them has a few good offsetting aspects in their natal chart. If they do, this could be a fabulous pairing. But if they don't, it's unlikely they will mix very well. Read on to learn more about the compatibility between Aries man and Pisces woman.

Aries Man

Aries man loves a damsel in distress, and Pisces woman loves to be one, or at least pretend to be one. Aries man is the most masculine sign in the zodiac and Pisces woman is the most feminine. At first glance they seem perfect for one another, and during the honeymoon period they will be. But once you get beyond the initial excitement and real life sets in, things will get complicated. Aries man needs to protect. No problem there. But Pisces woman needs nonstop protection and this can be exhausting. It can also be annoying if he starts to think she's just being an attention-seeker. He may start to feel like she's manipulating him, too. He understands she needs reassurances that he loves her and only her, but there are only so many times he can say this, and so many ways of expressing it, before he finally goes mad. And while they can gel well in the bedroom, it's not enough to make up for the mental exhaustion he will feel.

Pisces Woman

Pisces woman loves Aries man's eagerness to protect her and his warmth. But sometimes she will start to resent his leadership and want to exert some independence. This isn't really a problem until he gives it to her and goes off to the pub with his mates, which then stirs a whole new wave of insecurity. And it doesn't help matters that she's so intuitive. If she senses her man is eyeing up another woman, even discreetly, she will be devastated. And of course he is -- that is what men do! But that doesn't mean he'd ever pursue the other woman or even think about it for more than a second. In reality, Pisces woman will spend far more time thinking about that woman than her Aries man ever will. And these types of stressors will take a toll on both herself and him.
