What is the astral Body?

Astral projection (or astral travel) is a term used in esoteric circles to describe a willful out-of-body experience (OBE) that assumes the existence of a soul or consciousness called an "astral body"

Also know as the etheric body, astral means that an experience of dream symbols , archetypes, memories, spiritual beings ( guardians) and visionary landscapes. This astral body is an intermediate between the intelligent soul and the mental body.

What is astral projection?

Astral projection is none other than having an out of body experience on purpose. Many people swear having OBEs and being fully aware of being in the astral plane.

Types of astral projection:

  1. Lucid dreaming
  2. Near death experiences
  3. Out of body experiences
  4. Astral travel

Different cultures same experience...

The Egyptians would call it "Ka" or light body this can be found in many writings.

The Tibethans call it the " double body" which houses the soul.

The Greeks philosophers like Plato, Heroudutes, and Hermotumus talked about it as well.

In the bible we find many examples like in the Apocalypse of John and Paul's Letters.

On purpose or as a result of...

OBE
Intentionally
unintentional

through preparation and practice
Near death experience

yoga
during surgery

drugs
sleeping
Its estimated that 1 in 10 people have had, intentionally, through psychedelics or in dreams an OBE.

How can I do this or even know that Im astral traveling?

First of all is in the fourth dimension or better known as the astral realm i s the primary space where this occurs.

How do you know?

  • Your senses seem to magnify and in some cases sharpen dormant ones.
  • You know that everything is different, things can even manifest out of thin air.
  • You know you're just visiting.
  • The astral plane vibrates slightly quicker. The experience feels completely different than in 3D. It feels lighter.
  • In the astral plane or thought realm is where thoughts are manifested. Even now as we speak you are producing images and specific concepts in your mind that are simultaneously co creating in this plane too.

Have you ever had an OBE ?

Astral Planes

The astral planes differ in vibration.

  • Lower- purgatory, for some hell, where we dream
  • Middle-vivid colors, difficult to describe with words
  • Higher- heavens, summerlands, Angelic realm

Since this a subjective experience its individual and few people that have them have he language to describe it so we personalize it with know references.

Benefits of Astral travel

  • first hand experience
  • Recalling past lives
  • Identify reason for existence
  • Flying!
  • Meeting your spirit guides in person
  • Healing
  • Increasing your spirituality
  • witnessing other realities
  • And many ,many more.
