Virgo - Aries -
Virgo is an Earth Sign. Aries is a Fire Sign. Virgo is Mutable. Aries is Cardinal. This makes these signs quite dissimilar, but that does not mean it can not be a good match if love factors are there. Virgo is earthy and mutable. This makes the Virgo stable, but understanding and flexible in the qualities that they bring to relationships. They have tolerance and patience, but are soundly strongly planted in the ground. Aries's fiery nature and action-oriented style is not much like the Virgo. If Virgo was seeking more excitement, this could be great. If Aries was seeking practicality and thoroughness, it could also be positive as a match. A Virgo female could bring the insulation to the relationship and the Aries male could be the live wire. Real circuitry could develop. If an Aries female were tired of "lively" types, she could be strongly attracted to a hard-working sensible Virgo male. In either case, the Virgo would have to be impressed with the core seriousness of their Aries mate, and see them as strong, but entertaining and full of vitality. But, they would have to be convinced of that seriousness. The Aries, would have to value and seek out the Virgo soundness and not be off put by what might be perceived as a little predictable and boring.
Since Aries and Virgo are not much alike, the positive scenario would be that they are attraced to the values of each. Positively speaking, if there was basic attraction and similarity of personal values, they could offset their differences and make their unique contributions to the match. Aries fire can be its own dramatic show, and Virginal service and appreciation can make the Aries feel loved and valued.
Aries and Virgo would not provide romantic fireworks on the face of it, unless the Virgo was seeking out and searching for Arian smoke and flame. If there would be a lack, it would be that Virgo would want more "sincerity" in the relationship, and Aries would want less "predictability".
Virgo and Aries could really miss the boat in getting confllicts resolved. Virgo would insist on being its usual critical self, but be surprised when Aries took loud offense. Virgo would ask for more quiet and less yelling, and Aries would yell louder. Aries would ask for the virginal attitude to be a little less nitpicking. Virgo would keep grinding away on the "main point", while Aries attacked from several angles at once.
Life in the end is repetitive and mundane, and so is Romance itself. This factor asks the question: "Can we be bored together over the long term?" Virgo and Aries, could be bored together. Virgo can slip into predictability and emphasize the basics and be quite happy. It would depend on the tolerance in the Aries partner. Virgo might tire of Aries energy, but if it did not, things could keep going nicely.
Keep Up The Interest Graph:
Virgo and Aries could "keep up the interest". As long as the bills were being paid and the union was sound, Virgo could be happy and interested in keeping the "home fires burning" Aries, if happy with the union, could charge things up just by being itself. If Aries saw the Viriginal one as just too predictable and too much the same, interest could wane.
Seven Year Itchiness:
There are some signs that by their nature are more stable in their love interests and family concerns as time goes on. Others are not. The 7 year itch can trip up any union. Aries would by nature be more susceptible. Virgo, being in a sense a little too naïve, might not know what it was going through and get tripped up just because the 7 year itch is not an everyday, or monthly thing.
ASTROCOMPATIBILITY POSSIBILITY RATING: 50% Positive Long Term - 50% Short Term. If these two could get through the beginning and actually found a reason to stay together, it could actually develop long term. If as time passes, the relationship gets stabilized and confirmed, there would be foreseeable harmony. Short term looks almost hard to imagine, but long term, once ironed out, the union could have a balance to it.
