Watching the Interplay of Startling Individuality

Virgo has an innocence about them that almost makes them oblivious to certain realities that others plainly see. However, because of Virgo's naive perfectionism they declare fresh and almost shocking points of view.

Likewise, Sagittarius’ way gives them a sense of permission that offers them wide avenues of self expression. In this way the duo provides fascinating material at a party But when they come to loggerheads at home, there could be sparks.

How To Get Along, and also be Passionately Committed– Virgo and Sagittarius

The Virgin and the Archer. ---- ADVANTAGE --- They are both MUTABLE.

Sagittarius is Fire and Mutable. Virgo is Earth and Mutable. Sagittarius is wild and wonderful in its expansive ways. Virgo’s restraint and critical nature sees Sagittarius as a phenomenon. Sagittarian tolerance, their quest for justice and their intuitive wish to see fairness manifest, brings much to the somewhat condemnatory Virgo. So, mutability arises, but in different styles.

Different kinds of "goodwill"

Virgos have tremendous talent to offer in the area of patience, detail and the hardheaded focus on service and specific kindnesses. I mention specific kindness, because Sagittarius can be so sweeping in its scope and plans and schemes. Sometimes they are so sweeping that much of the good will that they try to generate falls on the general, instead of the specific, making them sometimes appear to be happy and generous “blowhards”. This emanates as confidence. Some would say cockiness!

Virgo can temper this quality with its caring and helpful nature. The hyper critical aspect of Virgo can be offset also by the Archer. Their arrows do go out, and often willy nilly, hit the hearts of people who are innocently standing by. This is where their similarities would appear not to be as helpful as one might think.

The criticism of Virgo and the often insulting aspect of the Archer’s public personality give the two of them a two-pronged quality. This actually might make them both see themselves in each other, but it might make them a little harder for others to deal with. The difference is that Virgo is almost always conscious, and sometimes the Archer is on automatic.

Sagittarius aspires to the new on the grand scale; and brings new plans to the open air. Virgo is always trying to make the new in the minute and the particular.

A Good Pair But Not Really Alike

This is part of the picture of these two that makes them intriguing as a pair, but not really so very much alike. Virgo has an innocence about them that almost makes them oblivious to certain realities that others plainly see. Likewise, Sagittarius’ way gives them a sense of permission. They allow themselves so much that many other signs would not, that they also, in a way, defy understanding by the more subdued sun signs. I bring this out because it is also an area in which both of them could be made more comfortable by each other.

Positive Postulate: The Virgo can make such a real and humble partner for the expansive Sagittarian. When I say “humble”, I do not mean that the Virgo is mute and self-effacing. I mean that in contrast to the Sagittarian, the Virgo would make a pleasant and engaging companion, and not get in the way of The Archer. The Virginal point of view offers detail orientation, measured speech, openness of heart and a fast-working brain that can smooth out the road before the Archer. The Archer can look quickly at itself and know that the Virgin has much to offer it. The Virgin can look forward to a bold leadership from its partner.

Romance Recommendation: Sagittarius is a dynamic romantic. If they are anything at all, they are ruled by Jupiterian expansive personal power. They say the planet is gaseous and sometimes the Archer can be bigger than life. In the area of romance, the Archer can not only shoot the arrow, but it can shoot you in the heart. They are warm charmers and very much self-contained. Virgo’s sweet gentleness and desire that everything should work well, including romance would be a nice counterpart to Jupiterian robustness.

Conflict Quotient: Candidness can create conflicts that do not need to be there. Virgo’s worried ways could be upset by the Archer’s strong and aggressive manner. So much of what the Archer does gets down to inadvertence or just mistaken blustery energy. When Virgo starts to understand this, it will be better for both.

Peace Parlay: Life in the end is repetitive and mundane, and so is Romance itself. This factor asks the question: "Can we be bored together over the long term?" Virgo rises every day with a full agenda. Boring and Sagittarius are inimical to each other. Boring would be a sign that they were just not talking to each other, or just downright disagreeing on things.

Keep Up The Interest Graph: Wildness is in one of these. Virgo is not that one. The Archer’s ways will generally always lead to wide-eyed wonder on the part of the Virgin. Virgo will probably have to concentrate on keeping the interest up, since their focus so easily goes to fixing the existing mundane challenge that lies in front of them.

Seven Year Itchiness: There are some signs that by their nature are more stable in their love interests and family concerns as time goes on. Others are not. Some Virgos would not believe in this, and call it a myth. Others would “tisk tisk” and know that it’s what happens to people. Sagittarius might blush, or proudly grin, because it knows it was faithful.

ASTROCOMPATIBILITY POSSIBILITY RATING: 65% Positive Long Term - 55% Short Term. The good beginning that these two would have in some accidental meeting, or a sudden favor from a marriage-minded friend, could make them both think of destiny. As they got used to each other, they would both spend much time just marveling at the other’s qualities. And then, after all this admiration, they just might stick together.

If Destiny is a Soup, Both will Have to Love the Flavor and Aroma

The good beginning that these two could have in some accidental meeting, or a sudden favor from a marriage-minded friend, is that Destiny could be real!

The X Factor:

Will Virgo Truly Admire and be Entertained by Sag?

Could Sag Deeply Appreciate Virgo Genuineness and Innocence?
