Karma in Astrology

Updated on January 6, 2016

"Man has wanted to look beyond, wanted to expand himself; and all that we call progress, evolution, has been always measured by that one search, the search for human destiny, the search for God."- Swami Vivekananda

There is great joy within the knowledge of astrology, provided one is truly grounded in sacred writing astrology. The Vedas have known as it eye through which man will gain knowledge of his worldly life and spiritual self. An astrologer or spiritual guide has access to 1 of the most effective languages of Nature. Whether or not we have a tendency to understand ourselves as helpless victims or witnesses or insignificant specks or rejoice during this outstanding play, depends on our view. It is inspiring to be a part of this grand cosmic play, this play of Consciousness Once you actually expertise astrology, this way, life is not any a lot of a suffering. There is neither sin nor virtue in being a part of this. Neither is knowledge burdensome. You rejoice in everything.

Karma means action, means "to do". Direct we have an indication that the real meaning of karma is not fate because karma is action. It is equivalent to Newton's law of ‘every action must have a reaction’. When we think, speak or act, we initiate an energy that will react accordingly. This returning energy may be altered, reformed or adjourned, but most people will not be able to eliminate it. A person may not escape the consequences of his actions, but he will suffer only if he himself has prepared the conditions for his suffering. Unawareness of the law is no excuse, whether the laws are normal or universal. A karma theory considers not only the action, but also the actor's intentions, attitude and desires before and during the action.

We all are troubled personalities in this world, every one carrying his individual burden. Most are reaping what he sowed within the past. The law of fate is functioning unrelentingly on this conception. You see, it is the thought that usually makes problems, then it takes pleasure in solving them. When we cannot solve them, we become sad. There is no need to worry as a result of whatever is destined, whatever must happen, has already happened, is already destined. We are going to need to face it.

Our life is ruled by our destiny which is the results of our past karmas, and thus we tend to should face. Nothing will change it. This destiny was written out in the minutest detail, even before we were born. Then why worry about it? Every one carries his cross, and also the burden of some is light and of others is heavy. . We should always make an effort to improve our conditions and circumstances, however, if no results are achieved, we should always take it as our destiny and live within his will. What else will we tend to do? No amount of worry would change our destiny. What we have to get, nobody will keep it away from us. And what is not in our destiny, no amount of effort can succeed.

Our activities form our luck and these include our thoughts and deeds. Good thoughts will obviously lead to better destiny & deeds which in turn will lead to an abundant harvest of respectful of our past evil actions. The results of our past activities can return no doubt because of the end result of the Law of Sowing & Reaping. An easy way to begin is by keeping our thoughts pure. This is often an enormous task, however the rewards are that we will reap peace and be happy. Thoughtfulness clears your mind of the illusions, preconceptions and negative concepts that live in your consciousness and adversely influence your relationships with the outside world and your inner self. It will assist you to face the world.

Astrology is that the light that reveals this great truth to us so we have a tendency to may be focused. A sincere study of astrology will be a good spiritual education; a Meditation in itself, for it partly reveals the eternal mysteries of the cosmos to us. It leads us to the unknown through the known. It guides us out through the tangled labyrinth that life is, with its many pairs of duality. It shows us the method and ultimately sets us centered, by taking us back to our cosmic roots.

”Karma literally means action. We are referring to past action. From the moment you were born till this moment, the kind of family, the kind of home, the kind of friends, the things that you did and did not do, all these things are influencing you. Every thought, emotion and action comes only from past impressions that you have had within you. They decide who you are right now. The very way you think, feel and understand life is just the way you have assimilated inputs. We call this karma.”

According to our karmas, we tend to acquire this world with a fixed plan, finish our karmas, the springs of life so leave our field of activity, as ordained, some in one way and some in another.

“It's not what's happening to you now or what has happened in your past that determines who you become. Rather, it's your decisions about what to focus on, what things mean to you, and what you're going to do about them that will determine your ultimate destiny.”
