Attempting To Murder God

Updated on May 2, 2014

Commandment #6

Thou Shalt Not Murder

Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior; the King of all, when He walked among us said that there are two commandments that by following them, we will follow them all. They are:

  1. Love the Lord your God with all your heart.
  2. Love your neighbor as yourself.

I titled this hub in this fashion because of what I see happening in this world today. So many are attempting to murder God. So many are willfully breaking every commandment they possibly can. It all saddens me and also angers me.

What I see in many people is the same thing Moses probably saw with the Israelites. God giving out miracles and blessings and no matter what, it's not enough. People that actually have the gall to claim that God has caused all the evil in the world.

Now, don't get me wrong; I have my issues too. I have said and done things that I am sure God is not at all happy with. Fact is, I am not going to tell you that there is no God or that He is evil. I will not try to intentionally take you into sin. I also will allow you to have your opinion, but please allow me to have mine too.

So how is mankind attempting to murder God?

The Murderous Attempts

In the guise of rights for a few, the rights to worship and pray to God have been taken.

The school system in the United States has adopted the no God rule.

The court system in the United States has adopted the no God rule.

The United States government in general has adopted the no God rule.

They are attempting to murder God and they wonder why there is so much bad happening. Why is the economy about to drop out? Why is the unemployment rate so high? Why is the worst drought in years happening in the corn-belt of the United States?

The answer is very simple people, but will anyone listen?

They are attempting to murder God!

I am not in a very humorous mood today, but this next photograph I am putting may get a chuckle or two. It is what we need to do. I will explain after you take a look.

Our greatest weapon is not a gun or a bomb as some radicals might think.

The answer to winning this war against so-called atheism and the attempted murder of God is not violence.

The greatest weapon we have is prayer.

No one can fight this war better that the one they are attempting to murder. That is why they are trying to kill Him; they know it better than some Christians do.

We need to pray; pray and pray.

I am calling for a unified prayer. A prayer that God would step back into the United States of America. A prayer that he would make the enemy's attempts backfire. A prayer that men, women and children who have been fighting God will fall down and ask His mercy and grace.

Tomorrow is 8/8/2012. All those eights have me wanting to ask all of you to unify in a prayer of hope and faith. A prayer telling God we don't want Him murdered and that we will stand with Him and that His will for our lives be done.

Please set aside either 8am or 8pm your time to pray for all our enemies. To pray for all God's enemies.

This is what Jesus told us to do and I believe we will see miracles take place. Miracles of those we never thought would claim Jesus will turn their hearts to Him.

Everyone in prayer on 8/8 at 8 and lets watch our Heavenly Father work wonders!

Please share this with everyone!

I write this in love; love for God and love for mankind.

I just open this in Stumbleupon.

Daniel 6:10 "Now when Daniel learned that the decree had been published, he went home to his upstairs room where the windows opened toward Jerusalem. Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before."

The last sentence I will have to agree with, God isn't causing the problems; man is, because of sin. I do disagree with the fact that there is no such thing as a true atheist--everyone has some kind of god.

Not everybody believes in God. Public positions shouldnt have anything to do with God. I also dont belive God is causing our counties problems.....
