Avoid the Demonic Disciple Trap

Updated on December 27, 2010

Drawing on demonic entities to help you reach your goals indentures yourself to them, and is to be avoided at all costs. Sometimes people don’t even realize they’re doing it, and those who do often don’t understand the consequences until it’s too late.

Once you die, in such an arrangement, you become their slave and must do their bidding, according to Manly P. Hall, author of The Secret Teachings of All Ages.

“First. The visible universe has an invisible counterpart, the higher planes of which are peopled by good and beautiful spirits; the lower planes, dark and foreboding, are the habitation of evil spirits and demons under the leadership of the Fallen Angel and his ten Princes.”

“Second. By means of the secret processes of ceremonial magic it is possible to contact these invisible creatures and gain their help in some human undertaking. Good spirits willingly lend their assistance to any worthy enterprise, but the evil spirits serve only those who live to pervert and destroy.”

“Third. It is possible to make contracts with spirits whereby the magician becomes for a stipulated time the master of an elemental being.”

“Fourth. True black magic is performed with the aid of a demoniacal spirit, who serves the sorcerer for the length of his earthly life, with the understanding that after death the magician shall become the servant of his own demon.”

“For this reason a black magician will go to inconceivable ends to prolong his physical life, since there is nothing for him beyond the grave...a man will barter his eternal soul for temporal power...in its various branches the black art includes nearly all forms of ceremonial magic, necromancy, witchcraft, sorcery, and vampirism…”

“Though the demonism of the Middle Ages seems to have disappeared, there is abundant evidence that in many forms of modern thought--especially the so-called ‘prosperity’ psychology, ‘will-power-building’ metaphysics, and systems of ‘high pressure’ salesmanship...”

For obvious reasons, short-term earthly gain through the help of demonic elementals isn’t worth selling your soul, but we believe it’s entirely safe to strive toward gaining abundance and whatever else you want as long as you don’t hurt anyone or yourself, and you don’t employ demonic energies to assist you.

How to Avoid This Trap

You must be very careful to only ask for help from positive other-dimensional energies, those of the Light. Whenever you’re in need of help, and we believe help is always available to you within your predestined framework, make sure to ask for help from God (or however you refer to the higher power) or “guides, masters, and helpers of the Light.” Our Spiritual Detox audio can help you keep your energy clean, and avoid harmful entities.

Aside from demonic other-dimensional energies, in our view there exist “guides” on the other side that don’t offer absolute truths and wisdom, and many have strong prejudices. Sometimes these entities are simply disincarnated souls who have not yet gone to the Light after their physical body died, so they may not be any wiser than you. There are also troublemaker entities who enjoy causing problems.

Any insight you receive that sounds biased Or that feels negative, be wary. Also, a very possible sign of a mischievous, or even dark and harmful other-dimensional spirit is one that claims to be someone famous, such as a deceased celebrity.

So go ahead and ask for assistance with your worthy goals from God or guides and Angels of the Light if you feel you need help. In addition, focusing on being grounded and centered and meditating regularly will give you plenty of valuable guidance from within, without having to ruin your soul through partnering with demonic energies.

I believe to be successful in this life and any other one

must use are resources that are available to be successful Fear of dark entities, only holds the one back that is fearful! In life we all accept and manage a certain amount of risk and this is no different! To me magic is simple the use of focus intense directed energy that surrounds everything like the morphic fields so to not use it would put one at a disadvantage and make success more difficult than necessary to obtain. The military taught me top be all that I can be so to that

end I must always strive to learn more and apply to my

life without the limitations set be others based on

their own fears, worries and doubts!

Universal truths cannot be changed but many have tried

What is your definition of a "demon" again as many

definitions vary. In this world where to poor outnumber

the wealthy by the billions, whom did they enter their

contract with? You say that magic cannot be used to solve

problems I guess it depends on your definition of magic

which is used intentionally and unintentionally every day

You say that spirits are the same in every realm and

that this polarity exists there too can you prove that

statement because I find it heard to believe that every

realm and dimension is like ours and operates by the same

laws! Simply amazing that these statements can be made

with no evidence to support them!I guess you don't

believe in levitation as you stated no one can walk on

water. How can you be so sure have you viewed the

ascended masters and others that have advanced psychic

gifts or do you totally discount the many eyewitnesses

      too such things!

One does not have to die to become a slave as many are

wage-slaves in the here and now so whom did they make their contracts of servitude with? When the human mind is the sole basis for judgment in standards then we are left with the theory of relativism and there are no absolutes when it comes to right and wrong! many example gay marriage interracial marriage the practice of magic and religion and many other topics that millions of people disagree about. You throw around so many terms as

though every one that reads them operates from the same

belief system and definitions when you know that this is

      wrong.

Really from what viewpoint do you judge light or dark

forces because based on flawed human reasoning anything

can be labeled as evil or dark if it is not in agreement

with the prevailing view of the times and some did reference the bible or did I read that wrong. Many people

still disagree about the immortality of the human soul so

I cannot take or accept that belief as an absolute without proof which I have not received as of yet I love

terms like if it seems to be good to be true as if every

thing is meant to be a struggle and painful where do such

concepts come from and gain universal acceptance because

definitions are written to suit the author what is the definitive unchangeable definition of right and wrong or

or good and evil and whom ultimately decides? So many terms are thrown around and unquestioned this is amazing

as we know for every viewpoint there is a counter viewpoint thus who decides and enforces right and wrong?

I take it you must be a christian based on your view and

how you express but can you PROVE what you have posted

or am I too take it on "blind faith" as you religious

views very especially as to whether the human soul is

      eternal or not!

This is fear and is used to discourage people from attaining what is is they want instead of what they want

if a person is willing to accept the consequence for their

decision then they should use all means to achieve their

goals if not what is the point?

The power of attraction works in other dimensions too. If you attract them here, you will attract them there.

good advice...no sense in welcoming something that will do you harm...we are told to "try the spirits, to see if they are from God"....we wouldn't have been given that advice if no bad spirits existed...

"As Above, So Below," the quote, as translated from the Emerald Tablet of Hermes Trismegistus, I believe, in part relates to that which is seen above (heavenly bodies) reflecting life circumstances."

No, I got right out of the Bible. Jesus said it. That is cool though becasue that just makes my point to others who think Jesus was the only one who had these notions and teachings.

Re-incarnation? I also read Betty Edies (sp) book, Embraced By The Light.

I have experienced "lost" souls and those which I thought were not good spirits. I simply just told them to go away and leave me alone. Of course it took three times for them to take me seriously.

As Above, So Below--In, On, and above our Earth--they are all the same. Though there is a good version of Deamons not akin to the way or what we attribute them to in today's world. Deamon used to be good until Christianity stepped in and wanted tha control factor of others. I agree with Alex. I think you can figure out the origins of a suggestion by looking at what consequences that suggestion will have on you and those around you. Unfortunately, so many people get caught up in an emotional moment and don't seem to look more than a few minutes into the future.

I have some problems with knowing what is and is not evil. In some religions, the religions of the book especially, thinking independently of what the priesthood say, is considered evil, for example. The danger is considering something evil because you find it repellent or a threat.

A good rule of thumb for me is to treat any command or request to harm anyone, and the entity issuing the command, with great caution.

Well done, Scott. I used to dabble in Wicca(white magic), but never got the results I wanted, when I became interested in the methaphsycial as a teen and in my 20's, so I opened up the doors for entities to enter my space, and some where not exactly pleasant. I had no clue then this could happen! Nowadays, meditation, inner guidance, and the Light is my focus.

Wow, well done Scott. I could not have done a better job. I am glad you wrote about this.

      This is so true..

I have to add that magic can be a portal to awakening...when one is aware.

Even Annakin Skywalker was deceived, Scott. It takes an enormous amount of discipline to watch the temptation.
