Bible Promises for You
God Promises Protection
When you give God full access to your everyday life, he promises to protect you from evil. God will be present at every moment and shield you from catastrophes. Perhaps, you'll shun an accident, not suffer a heartache, illness, or misfortune. God will always give you what you need and most likely not everything you want.
God is always enough when you think about it! He is an eternal refuge who hears all your thoughts, and has everlasting arms to hold you. His way is perfect and flawless!
When you rely on the only mighty God who sacrificed his son, Jesus Christ for you, life is always better. The only thing God demands is that you love him! You can prove your love to him by obeying his commands, and his commands are not grievous.
He most importantly requires you receive a baptism professing your belief in Jesus Christ. Once you are baptized, your walk becomes blameless and God watches over you, because you are now his child. God's will for you is perfect! His grace is sufficient as well. He will make sure you have food and clothing and will protect you from evil.
Realize, God will destroy all his enemies in Hell.
Because he loves me, says the Lord,
I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
He will call upon me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.— Psalm 91:14-15
God Promises Contentment
When you rely on the Lord, you will have a cheerful heart! You won't suffer from depression or worry about things, because your inner being experiences peace. You will want to pray to God continuously, because you desire to experience more of him. God is good and he is good all the time. He works everything for your good as you walk with him every day.
God desires you live your life free from the love of money! You should be happy with what you have, because God has promised he will never leave you or forsake you.
Naked you came into the world and naked you will leave. Why should you worry about getting more of what you want?
When you love God, you will naturally want to praise him and rely on him for everything. You are simply passing through this life! Earth is a testing ground! The ultimate goal is to receive the gift of eternal life in heaven with Jesus.
Remember, you're a delicate flower made in God's image. He cares for you and records every tear you cry. If something is important to you, it is important to God.
You must learn to be content in every situation. This is an enormous gain! God says, as long as you have food and clothing, you are blessed.
Think of all the things you possess, and how fortunate you are compared to certain people who are living without God! These folks fret, fear, worry, lie, live with greed, promiscuity and more.
The fear of the LORD leads to life:
Then one rests content, untouched by trouble.— Proverbs 19:23
God Promises Comfort
God is full of compassion and he is close to the brokenhearted. He will always comfort you in your troubles, so you can comfort your friends and family. If you're struggling with an addiction, illness, difficulty, lust, gossip or rebellion, God is faithful and he will see you through. He will never leave your side.
Use your suffering to glorify God! God suffered for you and died on a cross to redeem you from Hell. The entire world stands judged before God and no one can escape. Everyone will be rewarded for the good or bad they have done in life.
You must discipline yourself to obey the commands of God to the best of your ability. When you live a life geared toward righteousness and holiness, God promises to shield you from evil. You may be tempted from time to time and this will build your character. Only, God will allow you to escape the temptation. You need to keep God's promises in your heart to stand. The comfort that rests in God surpasses all understanding.
God promises to turn your heartache into gladness!
Then maidens will dance and be glad, young men and old as well.
I will turn their mourning into gladness; I will give them comfort and joy
instead of sorrow, declares the Lord.— Jeremiah 31:13
God Promises Help
God helps in all circumstances, because he suffered and was tempted when he came down from heaven to save his children. The Lord is always a shield in times of trouble. When you wait on the Lord, your heart learns to trust in him. He will daily bear your burdens and be your refuge and strength when you rely on him.
The good work God started in you, he will bring to completion. How marvelous is this! Though you may fail from time to time, God will work everything out for your own good in your life.
Your heart should leap for joy and give thanks to God every day. His mercies are new every morning. God will never fail you when you live according to his will.
You might not know God's will, but if you ask him to bless you, he will! He never sleeps, therefore; it's useless to worry. Worrying will not add to your life, but it will take away! It is a sin to worry when you are trusting in God's help. God never fails, so why doubt his promises!
We wait in hope for the Lord;
he is our help and our shield.— Psalm 33:20
God Promises Eternal Life
The only thing you should fear is God, since he holds the keys to eternal life. He is the only one who can destroy both soul and body in Hell.
You were made to live forever, except, you're the only one who can cry to God in prayer. People may pray for you, only God longs to hear your voice. When you call upon God, he always listens as long as you are asking him to guide you. He will always guide you according to his will. His will for you is for you to spend eternity in heaven with him.
His promises are eloquently iterated in the Bible for you. When you seek God with all your heart, you will find him right where you are. God will meet you wherever you are, and come to your rescue.
Be still and know God cares for you, and loves you tremendously!
