Bible Verses About Encouragement

Updated on November 16, 2011

Encouragement is something we all need to receive and give. Many people turn to the Bible for encouragement, and this hub is a collection of scripture about encouragement.

While many might be searching for encouraging Bible Verses, the Bible also offers words of encouragement through the examples and the accounts of the kings, apostles, disciples and the people in the Bible.

In this hub, I hope you'll find words of encouragement from the Bible, and also Bible verses about encouraging others. I encourage you to read the scripture in its context, especially for those verses that encourage you. You can go to Bible Gateway and search out the verse to see the verses that come before and after it. All Scripture is taken from the New International Version.

I never think of Lamentations being a book for encouragement but I see that it does have some inspiration. My favorite verse, in fact my life's song, is Jer. 29:11. It answers my daily events and reminds me that God is in control and has an answer to my question. Comforting hub.
