Biography On Jesus Christ

Updated on April 20, 2016

1. Who Is Jesus Christ?

Jesus is said to be the Son of God. He is called redeemer of all men. He is the king of the Jews. Jesus's mother was Mary. She had an immaculate conception because she knew no man, but the Lord knew her and placed his son in the womb of Mary so he could be born as a man. So Jesus's mother was Mary, his father was God and he is the step son of Joseph.

2. What Nationality Was Jesus?

Since Mary gave birth to Jesus in Bethlehem, he is a . Even though many times he is mention in the Bible as Nazarene. that is because his earthy parents moved to Nazareth soon after Jesus was born.

3. Did Jesus Have Brothers And Sisters?

Yes, Jesus was the only son of God conceived through Mary. But Mary and Joseph got real busy later on. The Bible spoke of Jesus siblings. The Bible mention Jesus having brothers and sisters. of Mark 6:3 and the Gospel of Matthew 13:55-56 state that James, Joses , Judas, and Simon were the brothers of Jesus, the son of Mary.Jesus's siblings were the sons and daughters of man, and therefore was not like Jesus.

4. What Kind Of Food Did Jesus Eat?

From picking things from my own little brain, i can assume that Jesus ate both meat and vegetables. If he did not eat any meat, he most certainly did not object to people eating the meat. They reason why i say this is because when he blessed the fish and bread and gave it to the people and they all ate, including Jesus himself. What about when he made the fishermen cast their nets and manifested an abundance of fish. Jesus also took part in the Passover, which involved the killing of lamb to be eaten. Did he banish the slaughtering of the lamp and simply ate bread and drank wine? What do you think?

5. Did Jesus Have A Wife?

Jesus was born from Mary, which was a human being, So even though Jesus was of God, he also was of Mary and must have had feelings and emotions as any human does. The Bible does not tell us about anyone Jesus had his holy eyes on, but in all the naturalism of things, i can assume that he must have seen some beautiful lady he admired and loved. Remember, Jesus lived whatever he preached.

6. What Did Jesus Look Like?

Certainly not the model that has been on calender's and church walls. The bible has a clear cut image of what Jesus actually looked like. Hair like wool, feet like brass and eyes like fire. Go figure!

7. Did Jesus Participate In Sex?

He was man, a holy man to say. He had feelings and emotions just like anyone else. But the bible would not tell us about Jesus sexuality and what he did inside his bedroom. That would make him seem less holy so even if the scriptures had anything written about the sex life of Christ, the so called Bible Scholars and Religious leaders would have omitted that hanky panky out.

8. Did Jesus Get Any Children While On Earth?

I wonder about that question myself. But the Bible never made mention about Jesus having any kids, even though in some scriptures Jesus does mention a woman who he calls wife. So apart from cooking, honoring their husbands and praying to God in those days, we all know what men do with wives. Who knows, maybe we have a couple descendants of Christ himself walking among us today.

9. Where Did Jesus Really Come From?

Many theorist believe that Jesus Christ is just a figment of someone's imagination, a well documented host to scare and keep people in line so they will remain devoted to their faith. But since i was there, let me give you the true run down on who Jesus really was. There was in fact a man called Jesus. He resided in heaven along the angels and the spirit of everything and nothing (God). Jesus was God's messenger. God sent his messenger to earth to tell the people to cut all the crap they were doing down there and return their faith to the one true God. His messenger was ordained with the power of God, so Jesus could heal, make wine from water, raise the dead and all of that awesome stuff. You couldn't just come to people and tell them God sent you without proof could you? So many people accepted him as the messenger of God, some called him Lord and savior, some called him God in Flesh. But he was a simple messenger who came from heaven to enlighten the people.

God could not come to man as itself, his power is too awesome to fit in a human vessel, so that is why the spirit Jesus manifested as flesh.

10. Was Jesus An Alien?

Yes, He came from heaven and needed a body to manifest, so the spirit entered Mary. See Answer above.

11. What Happened To Jesus during His Missing Years?

So no one knew what happened to Jesus from age 12 when he was in the temple attending his "father's business" until age 30 when he turned up to be baptized at the river by John the Baptist. Well, i can tell you that there is no missing years, it was omitted out of the bible intentionally. From the day Jesus was born, he knew he had a mission to accomplish. After the ripe young age of 12, Jesus left his homeland, traveled the land and explored the place humans called earth. If Jesus came as the savior of the world, why would he stay in only one small section of the planet, preach there, dragged off to be crucified, died and then risen. He traveled to many lands, he met many wonderful people, People from other African Nations, Europe, Asia and other places. As a matter of fact, i believe that he had followers in many countries, but knew that his final destination would have been where he started.

13. They Say Jesus Was A Carpenter, What Did He Make?

I don't know how they came to thinking he was a carpenter. There is no evidence of any furniture that Jesus made and sold or given away. Just like the spear, cup and the piece of cloth that wiped Jesus's bloody face, the furniture would probably be a relic. Then again, when would Jesus find any time to wield hammer, wood and nails. He was busy preacher and healer, and definitely a traveler.

14. Was Jesus a Christian?

When Jesus came unto earth, nothing existed by the name of Christian. Jesus was not religious, he was righteous. When Jesus left the earth, nothing exits by the name of Christianity, or christian. Religion is man made and has nothing to do with righteousness, has nothing to do with holiness and nothing to do with heaven.

Will Jesus Return?

Only time will tell

Jesus life is well documented, yet it's a pleasure to read about his life. This is a nice earthy hub. There are so many tales about Jesus that needs a thorough study especially his surviving the cross and dying in Kashmir where he was known as Issah Masih.

Always exploring, my dearest friend. Many things have been intentionally omitted from the good book for the sake of race. The book of Enoch for example. The missing years of the man called Jesus Christ, the book of genesis. I could go on and on. If you have ever tried to read the bible in all it's entirety, you would see it is not a finished book, hence why they call it "scriptures" because it is part of a Larger book, the book of life.

Clive, your biography on Jesus Christ is interesting. I am no bible scholar and I haven't a clue about his life other than what the New Testament teaches and I will agree that much of his life is not written about. I read an article that said he was married to Mary Magdalene. There are many false ideas concerning him. The Jewish people believe he was just a man, they are still waiting for their messiah. If we believe the bible was written by men guided by God, then we must believe in his holy conception. The only problem I have with the old testament is the cruelty and some of God's favorite men did terrible things. ( David and Bathsheba. ) The bible teaches faith and I am a believer because I have faith that everything we wonder about will be made clear someday when we see God. I've heard some preachers say that some details were left out of the bible purposely. I don't understand that either! I like it when you delve into the bible. Your questions are interesting and we all have them...
