Can God Change Your Life. "YES"
I would like to try and explain to you about how the word of God, that it can and will change your life.
But you will have to have your ears open and listen, and your eyes of your heart will see the truth.
God will judge us when we put labels onto others as names change the way people live, GOD will punish even the righteous who know the right but do not do it, it is the same when a father tells his son don't do that as it is wrong, the son knows not to do it but still does it anyway.
The father will then punish his son, and he will know why he is being punished, this is the same when we go against what God has told us not to do, but we still do it.
God wants us to tell people that He loves them, it is up to us to encourage them to listen to the truth.
None of us were born into the love, faith and understanding of the word of God, we were all sinners a fallen race, and we are open to the wrongs of this fallen world.
We have to be born again for us to enter the Kingdom of God, as we are sinners now and God does not look at sin He turns his back to it, just as HE turned His back on Jesus when He was on the cross full of our sin.
For us to be with God we are to turn our backs to our own sin, and we are required to be born again to enter the Kingdom of God.
For us to be born again we can not re-enter the womb of our mothers, It means that we must SURRENDER our selves to God, and to move away from our worldly ways.
Children look to their parents for which way to go,it is the same as we look to the Word of God, the Bible has all the answers there for us to follow.
Only when we have the right relationship with each other, then we will be able to come close to God.
Jesus came to show us the way to go to the Father, He said that "I'm the way", he who comes to me will be with the Father.
Also Jesus said that we must be born again.
Have you ever seen your child do something good in helping others, so you give him praise, you tell him that you are pleased, or that was a wonderful thing he did, it will make him feel important.
Then the next day you see him do something which is not right, do you call him you fool, stupid, brainless, idiot, why don't you think, I wonder what God must think of us when we speak like that to others, does He (God) call us names when we do the wrong thing, I don't think so, as God is love so how can He call us names.
Why do we label people when God does not put labels on us.
Has anyone ever asked who you are? what is your answer back to them?
Do you say that you are a teacher, business man or woman, lawyer, or what ever job you are in, this is only saying what you are,not who you are.
When I'm asked I tell them that I'm a child of God, can you say that??
Do we have to live in this fallen world the way the world wants us to live, there are two answers to this question, yes we have to live in this fallen world as there is nowhere else to live for now, and no we don't have to live as the fallen world wants us to live, we do have the choice.
Are you brave enough to make a stand for your rights?
You don't have to preach to people about who you are, once you say you are a child of God they will want to know more.
Everybody has an identity in this world, something that says who you are, what is on your ID?
How do you determine what God thinks about you? it is really that simple, all you have to do is to read 1st. Corinthians 15:22. "For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive."
What does this "In Adam" "in Christ" mean? God sees us as when we are born we are "in Adam" as Adam was a sinner when he fell from grace, at the beginning God gave to Adam all , but he was not happy with what God had given to him he wanted more, so then all who now are born come under the sinful way of Adam.
As we are born under Adam he left to us his inheritance, his nature, his name, his detiny and also what comes with that is his sinnful nature, we are born spitriually dead because of Adam, but we can change it.
The inheritance that Christ left for us is in total contrast to that of Adam: Romans 5: 18,19. " For just as through the disobedience of the one man ( Adam) the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man ( Christ) the many will be made righteous."
So now therefore, the most important issue facing you and me is: With whom are we identified with-- Adam or Christ??, and seeing that we are born identified with Adam, so we must be identifie with Christ to be saved, how can our identity be change?
The answer very simple through baptisim, we are to be born again this time in Christ.
And if you are not born in Christ you will not go to be with Christ for enternity.
How many times have we heard the Word of God.?
How many times do we think that we understand what has been said.?
How many times do we say yes I've heard that before, and you still don't listen.
I've said it, then one day I had this feeling that I must do something about it, so I did and my life got changed around, now I can say that I'm a child of God.
I handed all my bad past over to Jesus and He took it with open arms, it was through Him that I'm free now, but I still have to live in this fallen world but I don't have to do what the fallen world does anymore, I am free now to help others to get out of this mess.
When we hear the Good News of Jesus and trust in Him as our Savior and Lord, at that instance the Holy Spirit of God baptizes us into Christ. 1st. Corinthians 12:13. "For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body-and we were all given the one Spirit to drink."
This is something that happens intantaneously to every christian at the moment of Spiritual birth, he is totaly identified with Jesus Christ.
If this has happened to you, you are no longer in Adam- you are now in Christ, He is the head of your family, your death inheritance has past awy, your inheritance is now eternal life with Christ Himself.
1st. Corinthians 15:22 " In Christ all will be made alive."
2nd. Corinthians 5:17. "Therefore,if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come."
Being made into a new creation does not refer to your behavior; it refers only to your idenity.
Jesus died for you so that you will be free from feeling disliking yourself, free from sin.
Jesus wants to be your friend, He knows of your weakneess, He knows what you are going through, don't shut HIM out of your life because you will never be able to have such a friend as He wants to be to you.
Jesus knows your life has been up and down, He bore on Himself all of what we would go through during our life time, He is not a stranger to us as He new us before we were born and He knows what we will be like right through our life time and He will be there for us for ever.
Are you ready for when Jesus Christ comes the second time??
He will come as the Word of God tells us that He will come, and Jesus Himself also said that He will come.
ARE YOU READY ??
