Cancer I Personality

June 25 - July 2

The Cancer I period takes The Empath as its central image, and can be compared to a time in the early adult life when the need to understand, feel and identify is prominent.

Cancer I people are clever in getting their way and use their powers of persuasion wisely when it comes to understanding the needs and motivations of others.

Despite the image of Cancerians as dreamy and impractical, Cancer I people are often able to make their dreams pay off. In fact those born during this period can be quite successful in the world of business and are impressively proficient at handling money.

Their watery nature is revealed in treating currency as a fluid commodity, instinctively understanding that a constant cash flow is as necessary to finance as the movement of the tides of the ocean.

One of the strengths of Cancer I people is their salesmanship. As they are usually masters of human psychology they are able to convince the potential buyer that a product is the right 'personal' item to purchase.

Another aspect of Cancer I is their homely side. From designing to building their home it is a priority, and like their namesake, the crab, certain Cancer I's carry their 'home' with them in the sense of feeling secure and protected wherever they are.

Whilst those born during this period tend to be defensive-minded, like the crab, they can also show aggressive instincts, and whenever necessary they can make a quick transition from a shy and retiring person to an aggressive persona on the attack. They will always try to suppress and deny their aggressive tendencies, but the downside to that is that they can be prone to depression accompanied by periodic outbursts of anger.

If such individuals can overcome this emotional side of themselves they may succeed in becoming highly positive and successful individuals.

Don't put on too much armour you may over protect yourself and miss an opportunity. Allow others the freedom to take risks. Even though your salesmanship is excellent, it is not always appreciated.

Don't only challenge your fears, try to overcome them through self liberation and action.

Cancer II Personality

July 3 - 10

The Unconventional is the central image of the Cancer II. This period can be compared to the time in a young adult's life when out-of-the-way activities and unusual people occupy interest.

Cancer II people are not always what they seem to be. Whether they present a 'normal' image or not, one can be fairly sure that an unusual, even bizarre, fantasy life lurks just below the surface. This may be because those born during this period are in touch with their unconscious.

They enjoy observing, discussing and perhaps chronicling both human behaviour and wondrous aspects of nature and art. When doing these tasks they often express themselves through humor.

Those born in Cancer II sometimes decide it's better not to attract too much attention, and instead indulge their fantasies in their spare time, leading a kind of double life.

Others who are more carefree and unconcerned Cancer II's can really get out there in their imaginative displays. Charismatic, they have a way of touching those hidden areas in people that few acknowedge and ever fewer care to explore, getting in tune with their deeper sensitivities.

By capturing the imagination of others they can achieve respect in their social circle or even in the commercial world. However, such Cancer II's may suffer greatly if they fail to find an audience with which to share their thoughts amd may take a lack of appreciation as personal rejection.

Make a real effort to get out in the world. Toughen up a bit and try not to be too sensitive to everything as this will hold you back from being successful

Develop your financial sense and cultivate your talent for maintenance.

Keep contact with those who care about you, and put your active fantasy and imagination to productive use.

Cancer III Personality

July 11 - 18

The Persuader is the central image of the Cancer III. According to the Grand Cycle of Life, in human terms, this period relates to the years of one's mid to late twenties, when persuasive powers can be applied both in business and personal relationships.

Cancer III people know how to convince others of their worth and get them to do their bidding. They are powerful manipulators of their environment.

They often manifest great drive and determination, but do not fall victim to blind ambition. Even when financial rewards are forthcoming from their efforts, Cancer III's prefer to invest in themselves rather than indulge in materialistic display or power tripping.

Skillful, many can persuade others less by their arguments than by their presence alone. They have strong personalities and are not shy about quietly and effectively applying pressure when needed.

Because of their highly peruasive nature, Cancer III's have to be careful not to impact too heavily on others or even smothering those who they interact with. In particular, if they have children they should try not to be overbearing, dominant or repressive. It could stunt the young person's sense of independence and weaken their ability to live an autonomous life.

Most Cancer III people can manipulate the feelings of others, through their highly dveloped empathic sense. Those born during this period can thus be very upsetting, but when they are convinced that they are working for the highest good of their family or organization they are difficult to oppose.

With such social tools at their disposal, those born in Cancer III are able to impact greatly on others, even take groups and organizations to a whole new level.

Don't be too sure that you know what's right for people all time. Work to keep your own house in order first, and allow others to express themselves freely.

Perhaps no one doubts your good intentions but it may not be necessary to justify them. Be confident of your abilities on a deep level and you will succeed in whatever you put your mind to.

Cancer - Leo Cusp Personality

July 19 - 25

The Cancer-Leo (C-L) cusp is an overlapping and admixture of the fourth sign of the zodiac, Cancer and the fifth sign Leo.

The C-L cusp can be symbolically likened to the period around twenty-eight years of age in the human life, and literally arrives during the full heat and long days of summer in the northern hemisphere.

Those born on the Cancer-Leo cusp tend to have rather volatile personalities that can quickly swing from one extreme to the other.

They can appear shy and retiring one moment and dynamic and active the next, reflecting the clash of the watery senitivity of Cancer with the fiery assertiveness of Leo.

An obvious task for those born on this cusp will be to dampen the extremes of their fluctuations, flattening out their activity curve to more of a straight line, and to reconcile and integrate conflicting tendencies.

Thos born on the C-L cusp tend to be vibrant, energetic, exciting individuals who feel a need to seek challenges and overcome them.

Cancer III love physical disciplines and the mastery of the body play a great role in their development. Not only strength but also grave of movement can be a focus for them.

Try to even out the highs and lows; the rewards of stability are great. Cultivate self-discipline but never lose your spontaneity.

Build a calm center which bolsters your confidence and remains at the heart of your being.

Concentrate more on living in the moment, free from past problems and future expectations.

What's In Store for You In 2012

Personal & Social Life

2012 should be a happier year for you. Enjoy yourself and stop worrying about the state of the economy as there is not a lot you can do about it. When things are tight improvise and work with what you have.

July 19 is when the New Moon in Cancer arises. This is probably going to be the time when there will be changes, so any major matters you want to attend to should be done around this time. e.g. proposing marriage or making a commitment, changing career or job, moving home or contemplating starting a family.

Whatever happens, just let your hair down and enjoy the moment.

Career & Money

This year might be the time for you to change gear and move up the career ladder. If you are an ambitious crab then now is the time to put things in place so that you get that promotion, and move onto better things.

However, if you are a cancerian who would prefer to relax and work in a comfortable environment rather than strive for the prestigious position, then you should remain in your comfort zone as this makes you more happy than a pressurised, high-powered job.

Love for Couples

For couples with children the best advice for you is remember you have a partner who also needs attention. Cancerians love to provide for their home and family, but sometimes you can concentrate too much on the childrens' needs. You have to find a balance.

For couples without children, don't overreact in situations where your partner has a problem or you have a difference of opinion. Instead of getting anxious, take a deep breath and deal with any situation calmly.

Love for Singles

For single cancerians, don't waste time, get in there and ask the person you fancy out! This year could be the year you meet your soul mate.
