Capricorn Man and Love: Extended Version

Updated on November 24, 2014
Probably how everyone who falls in love with the Cap might feel like *laughs*
Probably how everyone who falls in love with the Cap might feel like *laughs*

Why does he keep coming back, and then leaving =/ ?

I see a lot of people who've fallen in love with the Capricorn, and suddenly, they just leave. And then come back. And repeat. Now I know what you're wondering, "Is he a player?" or "Is he just playing games with me?" or "Can he not find it in him to stay committed?" Well, I'm here to answer those questions.

If a Capricorn stops talking to you and then comes back, and repeat, it's not because of any of those things. We, as Caps, need time to think about whether or not "u da 1" or not, because for starters, we're not ones to love on a whim.

Honestly, you're just gonna have to be patient with them. We're not easy to get, but if, during you're time with him, he still showed a wall, and then left, then I'd say he's thinking about you every second of the day. Even if he's not, what I just said still applies.

But, if you're really concerned, then I would suggest going to them personally. Trying to reach them through text, email, snail mail, etc. when they've left to think won't work. So, again, if you're really concerned, go up to them personally.

How do I attract him if he won't let me in?

This is another problem I notice a lot of people face when dealing with them.

Don't be deterred by the walls they put up. The best way is to shower them with compliments. They might act like they don't care, but they do. Trust me. If you two are in high school and he passed the SAT and got into that presitgious asf college he's been dying to get into, compliment him on a job well done, and there goes 1 layer.

If he gets promoted at his job, shower him with more compliments.

Whenever he makes an accomplishment, tell him how proud you are of him and how much you admire him for it. Tell him what an impressive job he did. He not only needs to hear it, but he wants to hear it.

Capricorn's secretly desire to be admired by their family and friends and the world at large. The problem is that they're so shy, reserved, and aloof that they either don't know how to respond or they don't want to be embarrassed.

Which brings me to my next thing.

Only compliment him in private, and absolutely no public displays of affection. Capricorns treat their public reputation to the world very seriously, so public displays of affection isn't gonna win their heart. Seriously, go date a Leo if you're into that shite.

In fact, Caps are so turned off by public displays of affection, that they might never speak to you again. Save the displays of affection for when you're alone, please. It's important that you refrain from this, very important.

(I hope I'm making myself clear enough, *laughs*)

How do I get him to ask me out?

Most Capricorns will not make the first move because they want to see if you're worth it first, so they'll wait on you to do the honors. This is because they know if you really love them, then they won't have to do anything. Some Caps will do the honors, but it'll be very awkward tho, just warning you. So unless you're okay with that, then yeah, you should probably take the initiative.

The Bottom Line

Case in point, if you want a Cap Man, then you're going to have to be patient. Trust me, they are worth the wait, but only if you can manage to stay patient. But like I said before, if you are really concerned, then do not hesitate to go up to them personally to see what's up.

Because honestly, the bottom line is, a Capricorn will never do anything to hurt anyone (tho, there are a select few, but they are few in number). When they leave suddenly, they aren't trying to hurt you. They just want to process their thoughts is all. Because, like I said. Capricorns do not love on a whim. They've been through too much shit to even consider doing that.

If you're a Scorpio crushing on a Capricorn, (and this is just an example, or if you're a Scorpio) then honestly, there's no reason for you to be hurting. There is no one better than the Scorpio at discovering what truly lies behind a person's mask.

If you're a Pisces or a Cancer crushing on a Cap, then it's the same. You have all the right tools to see through them, you're just letting your emotions get the better of you, and it's keeping you from looking at it from a logical perspective. So wipe those tears off your face and put those otherworldy abilities of psych and to feel the emotions of others to good use.

If you're a Virgo, then there's no reason for you to be upset either. You have the most powerful brain out of all the signs in the zodiac, and I know you don't like analyzing feelings, but if you love him, you don't have a choice.

And Taurus, there's no reason to be upset, especially. No one's better at showering someone with compliments then yourself. And no one's more determined then you when you want something.

So, please, don't despair. Don't falter, you must push forward if you want him. You must be persistent in this endeavor, above all. Keep at it, and you'd be surprised where it takes you.

I thought you were going to make a Cancer article next?: I was, but then I noticed how many people were struggling with Caps, and I just couldn't take it anymore. But rest assured, I'm gonna get to it.

What about the other signs in love?: I plan on doing that in due time; I can't promise it'll be soon, but for now, patience is a virtue.
