Church Is The Theatre Of Hypocrisy

PlanksandNails' goal is to write articles that pique discussion and look at things from a different perspective.

Those who are part of organized religion called 'church' have failed in understanding of Scripture for themselves. It is unfortunate that the church mind is so adamant that they are right in their ideology that they frown upon and judge those who contend against it because of its compromise. They have not allowed the Holy Spirit to lead them to truth, but choose the salaried-to-serve class who dispense their religious agenda from their pulpits.

When the church institution is weighed and tested for what it is, it fails miserably. Unfortunately, the church mind is not open to believing that their system is contrary to the ways of God.

The Religious Church Mind

This may come as a shock to the church attender, but Christianity tries to mix the holy and profane and truth with lies. The masses are duped in their self-righteous efforts. They will say, 'My church does a lot of good things for people and the community.' That is great, but so do the Jehovah Witnesses, Mormons, Sikhs, Atheists, Buddhists, etc, who all contribute their good works for the benefit of society.

Millions of people who attend church nod their heads and believe whatever their clergy says. They are hypocrites who say one thing, but their lives do not resemble God’s standard. They use their religious affiliations to bolster their egos. Their good works are announced on the stages of men for all to see. They pass around the money plates and receive the flattery and accolades of man as they write their checks and empty their wallets into the offering plate.

The religious mind revolves around attending the building called 'church.' They are deceived in believing that the good things that they are doing within the traditions of man are pleasing to God.

The Religion of Pretenders

This is the religion of pretenders that believe that church involvement within a man controlled environment is the essence of having faith in God.

They associate with the Bible, but twist it with their many different translations.

When they are confronted with their discrepancies, they try to assassinate the character rather than trying to reconcile with what God says.

Every one can attempt to use hearsay and personal opinions as justification, but when it comes to matters of what is truth, there must be evidence to back it up.

Christians will always condemn those who don’t do it their way. They are too arrogant to believe that they are deceived.

Counterfeit Christianity

Not many are willing to come out of their spiritual captivity. They will compromise because they know that they would lose their social status, friends, business contacts etc, as they love these things more than God.

They use God for their own agenda. It is all about what religious brand-name they are affiliated with and what it can do for them, rather than being obedient to God.

They boast of their good works, but they are no different than any other secular charitable organization. The indoctrinated religious mind has no concept of being judgmental and critical of being in error.

It is sad that not many are willing to come out of their idolatry. The disease of celebrating pagan holidays and traditions in the name of God are most treasured because business, relationships, finances and good feelings take precedence over worshiping God in spirit and truth.

Churches are theatres of hypocrisy because their worship is an abomination to him.

“I hate, I despise your feasts, and I take no delight in your solemn assemblies. Even though you offer me your burnt offerings and grain offerings, I will not accept them; and the peace offerings of your fattened animals, I will not look upon them. Take away from me the noise of your songs; to the melody of your harps I will not listen. – Amos 5:21-23

Counterfeit Christianity is a product of commerce that sells the wares of man that offers gratification and satisfaction with sugar coated words and experiences. It exalts, honours and glorifies man instead of God. It pampers carnal experiences of emotions and good feelings over humility and repentance towards God. It is all about I, I, I, instead of Him.

Those who sit in pews every Sunday morning hope that the Holy Spirit will move among them. They are always wanting a sign or an experience to affirm their belief. Unfortunately, they have no idea what the presence of the Lord is.

The Lie

The pew warmers and their hirelings do not possess the Holy Spirit, but accept any religious spirit that gives them goose bumps. They rely on signs and wonders, feelings, experiences and emotions to affirm their beliefs, but this is not true faith in God.

They think that singing 'worship' songs over and over and getting hopped up on hype is a move of God. This is idolatry.

The mantras and vain repetitions manifest in a flurry of emotions that equate to a supposed encounter with God. It is all about emotional experience.

The Holy Spirit is not about entertainment and the mystical that obliges the pew warmer with a carnal religious experiences.

The deception is right in front of our eyes, but so may are completely blinded in their delusion. Th is is why the church system is the theatre of hypocrisy.

Do you believe that the Church system give lip service to God, but denies Him in action an behaviour?

It came to mind that Moses went back to Egypt from the desert, only to end up in the desert for the rest of His life. The people he brought out of Egypt could not see the promised land, they all died off.

The person that I was in Egypt needs to die off before I will enter the promised land. When He returns is our promised land.
