Cleansing

Your crystal ball, whether it is made of lead glass or quartz crystal, needs to be cleansed after purchasing. If it has been sitting around the home for awhile and has gotten dusty, it should be given a light cleansing.

Crystal balls can easily pick up negative energies. These energies can come from other people who have handled the crystal before you purchased it and negative energies can fly off negative people who have visited your home.

Here's a simple, but effective, way to cleanse your crystal ball and any other crystals you have in your possession.

Sea Salt Cleansing

To cleanse your crystal ball, you will need sea salt, lukewarm water, a non-metal bowl, and a cotton or linen cloth.

Fill the bowl a smidgen over halfway with 1 part sea salt and 4 parts lukewarm water. Stir the water with a wooden spoon until the salt is dissolved.

Carefully place the crystal into the bowl of water. If you need more water to cover the top, add it.

If you just purchased your crystal ball, soak it for 24 hours in a safe place. If you are doing a mild cleansing and cleaning of your crystal, soak it for a minimum of 15 minutes.

Carefully remove the crystal ball from the water and dry it with the cotton or linen cloth.

Your crystal ball is now ready for programming or display in your home.
