Coming Into The Light
What a powerful retreat in God's grace, time and will can do to us!
Sometimes, when we dwell in the dark for a long time, we get used to its dimness that we never allow light to come in.
From time to time, we consider being in the dark is being out of harm’s way. The stillness and the silence even if they are in the bleakness turn out to be a benefit by now. The light now poignantly conveys fear of known injuries and pains. We’d rather stay here in the dark in our known sacred and comfort space than being out there in the light which we deemed might release us to be exposed in harm and danger. Yes, it is peculiar to view darkness as safer than being out in the light. However, for people who have been inconsolably hurt, darkness becomes their comfort and friend.
Is there truly beauty in darkness? If in this gloom we turn out to be something stronger, wiser and more beautiful, I believe so.
In God’s time, He certainly appreciates the moment we are ready to be out from this obscurity. Sometimes, it takes only days, maybe, sometimes weeks, mostly months or years but others have to settle for decades of pain for reasons we may not appreciate and value why. Nevertheless, personally it gives rise to a thought if the butterflies had to stay longer in their cocoon, do they become the most beautiful and the strongest?
Who are we to doubt God’s plan with each conditions and circumstances we go through in our lives? Who are we to defy God just because our struggles are much more difficult than the others? Saints have come across worst than our daily battles.
God never abandons His children. In His own time and grace, He sends His enlightened children to bring light to others who have dwelled in the darkness. Their light does not bring fear but instead, they bring God’s love. Their invitation to allow God to love us transports us not only into the light but into a life with the genuine purpose of serving God and others with God’s favors.
Isn’t life so wonderful?
Every day provides countless miracles and blessings! I am personally grateful for these people who are sincerely servants of the Light of Jesus in its truest sense. The men and women for others and most especially for God!

Let’s all seize every moment not just bringing others into the light too but in praising God in everything we do and making our lives a living testimony of His love forever!
