Conduit of Hope

Updated on January 22, 2012

Living Water

I'll go in the strength

It is a passion and a privilege to be a conduit for the Living Water; to the woman at the well she knew how tiring drawing water repeatedly from that well could be, but she drew even more tired of the life she had been living (living a life of sin) Jesus made that point she did not need to continue this way, the choice was clear as any mountain stream could be.
Psalm 42:1-2 (NIV 84) 1 As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God.
2 My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?
Do you long for this water as well? You can have it too and you shall be like a tree planted near the stream (drinking in the Word), when drought (hard times) come your leaves don't wither and you will always bear fruit (prosper). Psalm 1:3 and Jeremiah 17:8 My work as a plumber/maintenance mechanic can be challenging; I have been chosen to make paths to transmit drinking water to a thirsty public, there can be many bends to get it there, but best is the straight path, quicker to install and less costly is the direct path. Isaiah 40:3 (NLV) 3 A voice is calling, “Make the way ready for the Lord in the desert. Make the road in the desert straight for our God. We need water to survive in the here and now, but what of our futures? This Living Water, how did you receive it, what/who conveyed the water that gives everlasting life to you or to me? Are you ready to share the great news. There are many different materials (vessels) that can carry water to others, we are those vessels, we are those conduits and when you have differing materials, you must have an adapter. God allows each of us to adapt the message to our own understanding. He allows us to transfer this message (Water) as only the correct piece for the job will do. 2 Timothy 2:20-21 (GOD'S WORD) 20 In a large house there are not only objects made of gold and silver, but also those made of wood and clay. Some objects are honored when they are used; others aren’t. 21 Those who stop associating with dishonorable people will be honored. They will be set apart for the master’s use, prepared to do good things. Fear not if you don't know much about plumbing, all you need to know you have already learned, you need only know about hardship and about love and the words will flow freely from you about God and about the Son through the Spirit who has set up residence in your heart. Romans 3:5 (NCV) 3 We also have joy with our troubles, because we know that these troubles produce patience.4 And patience produces character, and character produces hope.5 And this hope will never disappoint us, because God has poured out his love to fill our hearts. He gave us his love through the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to us. I pray you and those who are found by God's Word will indeed prosper and be quenched of thirst from and through the Holy Spirit's infusion to your own spirit; to all who endure the hardships have faith in what we hope for and we are commissioned by Christ Jesus to distribute this message (gospel) as freely as water flows from where there is much to a place of little. As water carves through rock if allowed to flow unrestricted, so this message will carve into the hearts of men and women alike. Those who hear and respond will be changed forever, the edges found dull will be sharpened and the souls that were rough are now made smooth. Psalm 51:10 (YLT) 10 Aclean heart prepare for me, O God, And a right spirit renew within me.
