Coronavirus, Another Means of God Speaking to Humans #10

In the first article I have introduced this topic and have started with a means of God interacting with the first man, Adam. I continued with this by telling us some of the ancient means and which are still applicable today by which God speaks and interacts with humans. This article is emphasizing that there are different means of God speaking to humans, and nations, therefore, it is of no need that one imitates or copies someone else. I shall continue with expatiation of other means in this article.

Through witnesses, things that God has surrounded us with, we can also be ministered to and have interactions with God. God speaks to Abraham through the natural things, sands, stars of the firmament.

“And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered.

“And he brought him forth abroad, and said, look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, so shall thy seed be.

“That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;” (Gen 13:16; 15:5 & 22:17)

Jesus speaks of discerning the times of the day after looking at the firmament. People could discern what the day would look like and sometimes through that have some feelings, because the spirit inside of them has been connected with the supernatural realm to discern what would likely happen.

“He answered and said unto them, when it is evening, ye say, it will be fair weather: for the sky is red.

“And in the morning, it will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?” (Mat 16:2-3)

The author of the book of Hebrews also talks about the natural witnesses which the Lord is using to talk to us and the need for us to beware.

“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,” (Heb 12:1)

Through human witnesses we can also be ministered to, as the apostles while preaching to those who are yet to know Jesus the people’s hearts were touched and they become saved. (Acts 2:38; 16:29-31)

We also read an account of God speaking with a “prophet” through an animal, which shows that through animals we could also be ministered to by God.

“And God's anger was kindled because he went: and the angel of the LORD stood in the way for an adversary against him. Now he was riding upon his ass, and his two servants were with him.

“And the ass saw the angel of the LORD standing in the way, and his sword drawn in his hand: and the ass turned aside out of the way, and went into the field: and Balaam smote the ass, to turn her into the way.

“But the angel of the LORD stood in a path of the vineyards, a wall being on this side, and a wall on that side.

“And when the ass saw the angel of the LORD, she thrust herself unto the wall, and crushed Balaam's foot against the wall: and he smote her again.

“And the angel of the LORD went further, and stood in a narrow place, where was no way to turn either to the right hand or to the left.

“And when the ass saw the angel of the LORD, she fell down under Balaam: and Balaam's anger was kindled, and he smote the ass with a staff.

“And the LORD opened the mouth of the ass, and she said unto Balaam, what have I done unto thee, that thou hast smitten me these three times?

“And Balaam said unto the ass, because thou hast mocked me: I would there were a sword in mine hand, for now would I kill thee.

“And the ass said unto Balaam, am not I thine ass, upon which thou hast ridden ever since I was thine unto this day? was I ever wont to do so unto thee? And he said, Nay.

“Then the LORD opened the eyes of Balaam, and he saw the angel of the LORD standing in the way, and his sword drawn in his hand: and he bowed down his head, and fell flat on his face.” (Num 22: 22-31)

Just like in other forms of God ministering and dealing with us, because he cannot be seen, we need patience. It is the same with this, we shall exercise patience to be ministered to by God through the animals.

Like Martha we have been encumbered with many things in the world such that we do not have time for God again. We do not have time for his interaction, but he has created us to be interacting with us, he wants to be pouring out his mind to us and he wants us to also pour out our minds to him, but this has not been happening as it should, thus, God for his love for us carved out an avenue to make this happen by allowing the virus to mutate into the virulent strains that would affect man.

Another reason why he allows for the virulent strains to emerge among mankind is because of our sins. God cannot condone sins. He hates sins with perfect hatred and wants us to also hate sin, but appallingly many of us do not hate sin, as we have noticed different atrocities that we are being perpetuating in the world.

“And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

“Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

“Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

“For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

“And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

“And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

“Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

“Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

“Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

“Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.” (Rom 1:23-32)

Man killing man, lies, fighting here and there, homosexuals, sexual perversions, human having sex with animals and other things like that. All these we have allowed among us which pissed God off and to tell us that we do not own ourselves neither own the world he has over the times been growing the virulent strains inside of those animals (or whatever) allowing for the needful mutations to take place without the knowledge of the generality of people, and then allowing it to be released among men to teach us some lessons, to show us that he still owns the world, to show us that we have for too long ignored and disdained his calls and messages been sent to us through several of his ministers either through writing, social media, and other means of speaking to us.

He is saying if we shall reject the calls through those legal means we shall not be able to reject his call though this means, not even those who are in the remotest parts of the world could reject this call.

The powerful he makes powerless, the proud nations he abased and those who have been heady concentrating on their ways and things alone have been touched by God to think otherwise that the world is not theirs’.

He has done this because he wants man to belong unto him he does not want us to look unto the cistern, unto the gods that do not make us but that we should look unto him and be saved.

“Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.” (Isa 45:22)

He is by this pointing people to himself, telling us of the need to stop atrocities and sins, telling us of the need to repent and be converted to him, wanting us to know that He is the Supreme Being that controls the earth but not that the world emerges without a controller, a director as people have been thinking and saying.

Having seen that God speaks through divers means, it is important that individuals do not imitate anyone, we can learn from one another, for it is because of that, that we have been created and given birth to. We are also blessed with communicating skills among ourselves which make us superior to other animals. Therefore, it is expedient for us to know that we are different, and that God deals with us as an entity even among the populace, groups that we belong to. So we should always be inclined to the directives and ways of God for our lives, learn from others apply that to daily living but solely rely on him for his directives. And above all he is speaking to us through this means now so that we come to him.
