Dad was in a very bad way .......All of the Doctors gave up on him ...All except Dr. Jesus!

Miracles are possible with God.

Dad was in a very bad way … All of the Doctors gave up on him … All except Dr. Jesus!

I have been so extremely blessed my entire life. I really have. In fact so blessed that even as a little guy/toddler I was exposed to the greatness of God by experiencing and watching a real live miracle take place in the healing of my Dad. There is no way around it. It was the late 60’s and chemo had not even been invented yet. My Dad was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma and was predicted to die. All of the doctors had given up on him. All except Dr. Jesus that is. Dad would still have to suffer through this dreadful disease though. And suffer he did. Losing 100 pounds and going down to 80 lbs. He stopped eating, was extremely weak and was bedridden and completely delirious and in great pain. Again, he should have died. Instead, he prayed and he praised and so did we. That is where Jesus came in. My Dad’s restoration and healing is something that could not be medically explained. He was basically defying science and defying this disease that should have taken his life. It truly was a real live miracle. When Jesus shows up anything and everything is possible. So when someone inquires of my faith I can simply reply that I have lived it and I have seen what only God can do, does and has done. He is all powerful. There is nothing greater than our God. Absolutely nothing. He is so very good. I am so very blessed to be His witness. It is truly downright amazing. He pours His blessings out on His flock.

So are miracles possible? I would say absolutely. I was certainly blessed to witness one. Pray earnestly for all things and for all people. It can and does make all of the difference in the world. God can do anything. It will indeed make all of the difference in your life.

So, is there hope? Yes, there is most definitely hope and it is more than evident through the blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He alone provides everything that we require. He alone provides incredible hope.

Here are some Bible verses on hope:

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

Revelation 21:4 “And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Psalm 37:39 But the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord;
He is their strength in the time of trouble.
And the Lord shall help them and deliver them;
He shall deliver them from the wicked,
And save them,
Because they trust in Him.

Hebrews 6:19. This hope we have as aa anchor to the soul both secure and steadfast.

Hebrews 11:1 Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

God bless always.

      Yes, there is hope. And when you take faith and trust into account, hope can become stronger, maybe even becoming closer to being more like a humble expectation. I enjoyed your article, and I like your choice of scripture. Have a great day.
