A Dalmatian Stone

Introduction

Dalmations are unique stones and no I am not talking about the dog here. Although these stones do resembled the dog's fur coat pattern with the black spots. When I first stumbled upon these stones I was entranced by them right away and I had no idea what they were. My mom had just returned from Mackinac Island with a bag of stones and she had picked me up a couple of these. Upon further research I came to discover that they were called Dalmatian Jasper.

These stones are most often seen with black spots on a paler background, usually brown. However there are many other colors. The ones I have are blue and pink colored with black spots. It are these spots that had me falling in love with them. They resemble a dog in so many ways and it is no secret that I am a big dog fan.

Magical Associations

Dalmations are associated with other crystals and these include Banded Agate, Leopardskin Agate and Mookaite. If using these stones in a ritual or spell the best candle color to use along with it is a brown colored one.

Out of all the Chakras the Dalmation stone does the best when working with the Root. You may decide to use this with meditation or healing.

There are five elements, some choose not to really have much to do with the element of spirit but there are still five. These five elements include, Air, Water, Fire, Earth and Spirit. This stone's element is said to be Earth.

When working with flowers or any kind of plants the Dandelion, Dog Rose and Michelmas Daisy are the ones to use with this spotted stone. Herbs, incenses and oils that correspond with Dalmatians include Cedar Wood, Fennel, Mint, Parsely and Thyme.

Astrologically the planet that goes along with Dalmatian Jasper is Earth. When looking at the Zodiac the sign that works with this stone is Virgo.

Intent

All spells have an intention behind them. Whether they are money, love, dreams or anything like that each intention has stones that will work best with them. In this category of my hub I would like to share with you the best intentions that these stones will help out the most in.

Dalmatian stones are said to be the best stones for dogs. So when it comes to animals and you plan on working a stone with them this stone will help, that is if it is a dog.

If you are involved in using Herbal Remedies these unique stones will help amplify the effect of them. In turn may help you out even more with the healing.

Children sometimes will fear animals if you are one of those parents that have a child who suffer with any such fear Dalmatians are said to aid in that. And as for the environment of this stone it will play a good role as a focus stone in any badly run zoos or even farms.

In health and healing field of Crystals this stone will help a few things but before I list them off for you I would just like to make it clear that I am not a doctor. Therefore my advise is to go see one to find out what may be wrong with you. Maybe along with the help of your doctor you can also use the stones to help. These stones are a great cleanser and healer, it's very gentle. It is great with any condition that involves the internal organs but especially if you suffer with IBS and constipation.

In the home Dalmatian Jasper can strengthen family ties. This stone will also help you realize who your true friends are or aren't. When it comes to financial scams as well this stone will help you recognize them.

Many stones are great for uses of protection, each with their own little purpose and as you have probably guess this stone will help protect animals. However it will also help protect you against financial scams.

In the psychic category this stone can aid in telepathic communication with animals but can also be used to cleanse auras.

Last but not least this stone in the work field will help encourage team work instead of having arguments or competition with each team member.

Conclusion

All in all I have a few of these stones now and I am a proud owner of them. As I've stated in a hub prior to this one my favorite cyrstals are Amtheyst and the Clear Quartz however Dalmatian Jaspers are quickly making their way up on my list and may just make it to the top.

Nell, it is a stone I hadn't heard of before nor had I seen before. That was why I was very curious so I found it online and ever since I have really liked it.

Hubbswriter, I am unsure of where they can be found. My mom got them for me at a store that sold gemstones. Again, glad you liked it.

Me being a HUGE crystal/gemstone girl I should have heard of that one before. Sadly I have not. I just might have to do a little bit of research on that.
