Dear Lord, Take these

Updated on April 28, 2012

Dear Lord, Take These

Dear Lord, Take these hands

Unworthy though they may be.

Help them labor with your love

In the name of Christ's Charity.

Oh ,Lord, Take these feet

And guide them every day.

Detour me around each spot

Where only trouble could lay,

Oh, Lord,please take these eyes

And let me see only the good.

Let them show sweet compassion

As the eyes of a Christian would..

Then Dear,Lord,take this mouth

And let the words carry so far,

Praises of The Heavenly Father,

Praises of Him ,The Guiding Star.

Then Dear Lord ,take this life

For I commit it now to Thee .

Mold it, shape it , and blend it

Into all you would have me be.

Here ,Dear Lord, take my all ,

I have nothing left to give.

I commit my all to you ,Jesus.

For you gave me Life to live. !

When we come to Jesus we

must give our all to Him,not

half of us ,that will not work .

Jesus gave His all for us on

the Cross,and that is what

we must do if we want to be

His Child.You will never

regret it .You can have

riches in Heaven that you

never dreamed of on earth!.

Hi Ann, Good to hear from you. This is one of my oldies.I revised it a little.I hoped that people would like it.In these days we had better be doing more for the Lord than usual, the world is in such a mess now and so many people don't even care , you would think they would turn to God but they don't seem to .I don't know if these poems are touching many hearts but that is my desire. Thanks for your comment. love, clara

An offering of yourself. How pleasing that is to our Lord. The rewards are endless.

Hello Faith, good to see you again, I put this on last night ans was not sure how it would go. It is an old one that I had never dated. It is at least 45 years old and I just revised it a little bit , Back then I was just writing never thinking that they would ever be shown. I guess I just thought they were not good enough but I was writing for the Lord only ,never thinking that someday they would go to people in other countries.Just shows how wrong we can be at times,Thanks for the comment.Love, Clara

Clara, such sweet praises to our Lord. Yes, if we are not "hot," then He would rather us be "cold," and we know what He says about being lukewarm. I know I do not want to be spit out of His mouth. God bless you and your beautiful writing about our sweet Lord. In His Love, Faith Reaper
