Lust Caused Deception

Updated on September 26, 2015

What's your area of weakness

One of the meanings of the word deception has been given to be the practice of misleading someone, the practice of deliberately making someone believe things that are not true, trickery, ruse or a sham.

Marketing is one major way of commanding deception especially in car sales where the advertiser doesn't regard an ad as being complete unless there is a diva dressed in a bikini ware standing next to the car. Makes you wonder, what does a bikini have to do with selling cars. It's all deception but apparently men customers live for the next deception as long as it has a half nude diva on its hood.

From the beginning, the spiritual enemy of man, became the master of deceptive practices when he saw his chance to dethrone man and regain authority over the earth realm. The reason given is that God had not prepared a physical covering for Eve and Adam didn't mind one bit.

The enemy had observed Adam's insatiable for Eve, who flaunted her #10 under the wrong tree and so he decided to put a plan into effect. He would deceived Eve by stirring up lustful desires for the fruit of the tree that she was told never to touch. Became she was told not to eat the fruit of that particular tree, that tree then became most desirable and she under the instigation, lying advertisement of the serpent, eat from that tree and offered Adam, her husband, who was so taken over by her ravishing unquentiable beauty forgot the meaning of the word "no".

What Satan did was to deceive Eve into thinking that she would become a god just like Elohim God. You see, the devil will deceive you into becoming a victim and then accuse you before God. How many men have gone out and bought a specific automobile merely because they saw a semi-nude commercial?

Take note that Satan never told her of the outcome of his deception but only pointed out what she would become, that is; just as God, be all powerful and almighty, ruling the earth.

Eve wanted to sequester that over which God alone had control and authority. Eve had listened to pride and it had painted a “yellow-brick road” which led to a city of slavery and domination for her and Adam. God made sure that the position that she wanted would be continually beyond her reach, always aspired to, but never truly attained.

The lust of the power seeking Queen Jezebel blinds her to the ultimate consequences of her actions, and she falls prey again and again, to deception. She always made calculations in her movement towards her quest for power, but however, her calculations were always erroneous. This led her further into the realm of darkness and where her fall was always disastrous.

Satan and a third of God’s angels had tried to usurp authority in heaven and upon the Most High releasing him from all duties; he was exiled to the earth, where he was later to begin his opportunistic intentions against God’s tenant, called Man. He had attempted a rebellion that failed; now he wanted to seduce the woman, God‘s special creation, that he intended to bring forth a progeny. But by reason of lust, the woman was deceived and the family driven from a place of eternal luxury.

Deception caused a spirit of rebellion to access the garden causing its host to rebel against God’s word. Satan will use deceptive words to get you off track. His attacks are greatest among the female who God created to receive.

When this receiving is done indiscriminately there is always the development of a problem. Thus, Satan, as an enemy of the Lord, will seek to abort God’s plan, by attempting to communicate falsely edited material in an attempt to seduce and deceive that which is nigh the lord, His people. The Acceptance of this falsely edited communication will bring God’s people, otherwise known as the bride of Christ, into the bondage, and ultimately condemnation. The "bride" must get back to the word of her creator. She must understand that her creator's words are her prophecy being fulfilled. The word of the Lord says, "For-as-much then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind". God's people must prove themselves to be warriors and not punks!

In these times the devil wants to commingle with the saints, affecting them through lust of the eyes and flesh and the pride of life. He knows that they are dear to God and that he would not have them lost or enter into Abaddon.

So Satan constantly brings accusation against them as his desire is that mankind would fall into prodigality. That man would become reckless, wasteful and extravagant, mirroring him that was cast out of Heaven. Ezekiel 28:16, 17 says of him,

“By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.

Ezek 28:17 (KJV) Until his time is up, he is the accuser of the brethren – expecting them to entail punishment, that he might say, “Look at God punishing His own child”. Moses, in a plea to God, prophesied that the heathen would say these same words. Moses’ intercession touched God’s heart and God repented of his condemnation of Israel.

Intercession and continual fellowship with God will turn the favor of God towards his "bride" and bring condemnation upon His enemies and redemption to his people. God is in the process of doing spiritual overall on His church and with that overall comes "new clothing" and a new spiritual perspective so that their mouths are being satisfied with good things even as their youth is being renewed like the eagle. Glory!
