Do Not Announce

Updated on September 27, 2009

Matthew 6:2-4

"So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

Giving, we should give in secret, if not we should not boast. Giving to the needy is away of saying I care, and I LOVE God.

We give because we love God. We give because we love others. We love because God first loved us.

The Father knows what we are doing when we give, we need not make a fuss over it, He see's what we do in secret and our reward will be great.

So if you see someone in need, give..don't broadcast just give and watch your blessings flow.

So true Betty, I have learned there is more reward in knowing the Father knows what is done that in having others knowing.

Know that you are loved Betty, keep hubbing as God has much to say through you.
