Do not tisk tisk

Updated on November 18, 2012

Who do you need to encourage?

We need each encourage each other.

Is there someone you know who is going through some rough waters? What are you doing about it? Do you just sit on their hands, shake your head and go tisk, tisk?

Christians are called to take action in life, not be spectators. Joseph- Anthony: Green

If it is a brother or sister, we are of a holy family and called to help strengthen each other in our times of trials and hardships. If it is a nonbeliever, can you think of a better testimony of unconditional love than to help them?

Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. 1 Thessalonians 5:11 New International Version

So, don’t just sit there, take action.

You must begin by prayer. Don’t go off half cocked. That is the quickest way to disaster. We must always begin by prayer.

Imagine you see a family that is on hard times and you take a box of diapers to their house and they don’t have a baby. Ooops.

That is why prayer is the most important thing to begin with.

Then when God reveals to you what must be done, do it!!

It could be a telephone call or visit to someone who is sick or newly widowed or divorced. It could be something simple like sharing you umbrella with someone on a rainy day when they don’t have one.

There is no small act of kindness on earth that is not great in Heaven. Joseph- Anthony: Green

Prayer: Please Jehovah Nissi (The Lord goes out before us) open my eyes, heart and mind on any and every opportunity to help any and all by Your divine guidance. I humbly ask this in the name of Him who helped us unto salvation, Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

Putting action - or feet - to our prayers is what pleases God and inspires others to know Him. So true!
