Hi! I'm Haryank. I write articles based on Spirituality, Motivation and Mind. I also love writing about poems and short stories.

Let's Dive

What is spirituality? The answer to this question would be highly diversified if asked to people and sometimes could be little baffling too. But why is it so? Either it is because we don’t have any universal answer or we don’t understand it clearly. To understand what spirituality is you must know first, what it is not. So for the next few minutes fasten your eyes and mind to this page. Are you ready?

Misconceptions

The very first thing which misguides us is the word itself. This word has been misinterpreted by our mind. We have been so judgemental as whenever we confront this word we habitually presume that it has to do with spirit or soul. We think that we need to put extra effort to understand this concept. That’s now how it is.

  1. Spirituality is not about the spirit as the name implied or related to religion and God.
  2. A multitude of people considers the same. Some believe it's chanting while others think it's all about knowing about our souls. However, this concept is also not so close to reality and eludes us most of the time.
  3. Some people think spirituality is just leaving all the things and relationship behind and going to the jungle and live an ascetic life which is also an entirely wrong idea about spirituality.

Let's De Clutter it

Spirituality is not about leaving your people and running away from your responsibilities. That is the most erroneous concept made by our mind about spirituality so far. Okay, then what is spirituality indeed? Well, the quest starts with you. As everyone is different from the other then the answer could be a little different for each of us but the gist would be the same. Could there be any single answer to this question? Could we have an explanation on which all of us can rely? The answer is ‘yes’.

It's Time to Focus

Spirituality is all about understanding and wisdom. But, understanding what? This understanding could be of anything. Like understanding of seeing people or things as they are. It is the wisdom of comprehending the true nature of the universe and events. Spirituality is as simple as that. I don’t think there could be any other explanation easier than this.

Conclusion

Spirituality makes things easier not complicated as a spiritual mind deciphers the problem by digging deep down into it and asks the most logical questions to find the root cause of the problem.
