Have you ever felt life cheated you?
Love one another.
What is fair?
Have you ever looked at someone else's life and been envious? I think we all have at some time or another. Someone who seems to be lucky all the time? That they have everything that you want but for some reason you can't have it?
- Great paying, easy job.
- A beautiful home.
- Outstanding children.
- A beautiful or handsome face and body.
- Great health.
- Popular with everyone.
- Gorgeous hair.
- Beautiful skin.
- Beautiful eyes.
We have all heard the expression, "If you can't love yourself, how can anyone else love you?"
Do you believe this to be true? I have learned this the hard way that if you do not love, respect, and have dignity for yourself, that it is almost impossible for other's to have the same for you. It is not rational nor logical for you to settle for anything less than you are worthy of. Put it into your mind that you are a child of God, you are special, unique, and one of a kind.
God wants us to have a full and happy life. He does not guarantee that all of us will have the same kind of life. Some will have more, other's will have a less fortunate life.
So, when you think back of your life, do you feel cheated? Do you ask, Why could I have not had more? Why did I have to struggle, when other's have it made? Why was I not born rich, or beautiful?
Has there been anyone, that has ever really completely been satisfied with their life, that it was the best one ever? The answer is no. Plain and simple. We are never really happy with our lives and the way it turned out, none of us. Even the rich and famous, the beautiful people in the world, wishes for something more than what they have had.
I know what it is that makes life wonderful all the time. Having a personal relationship with Jesus! Only He can fill that empty void, in all our lives! That missing piece of puzzle to make it complete, full, and happy! He can make you be at peace with your life and make you feel blessed beyond any of your wildest dreams! He will calm your fears, your anxiety, your uncertainty of what comes after this life. We are all promised a place in Heaven if we accept Jesus as our personal savior.
What will be, will be.
Accept your life.
As Ms. Day sung in her song, what will be, will be. Accept your life as it is and be thankful for it. There are people who seem better off than you, but there are certainly people who are worse off and are living a hard life.
Life is life, and it will keep going on. Remember that God never promised us a life of luxury or ease. Not on this earth, but we will have that kind of life in Heaven! Set your goals for that life!
