Do you want a change

Updated on September 20, 2012

Boy have I changed

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! 2 Corinthians 5:17, New International Version

When you give your life to Christ, He will change you from within. It may take a while but He guarantees it will happen and it does.

Boy have I changed since becoming a Christian.

I used to swear a lot, now I never swear. Sometimes when the urge comes upon me, before I speak a thought comes to me:” Would Jesus like this type of language?” You know what? I like the conversation now much better and the type of people those conversations are shared with.

I used to be very stubborn, now I have learned to listen to Jehovah and others from their experience based on Bible teachings. Now my life has much less problems.

I used to be very cruel and spiteful if someone angered me. Now it has become much easier to just leave it at the feet of Jesus and doing this has created a much happier, relaxed lifestyle.

Prayer: Jehovah Ropheka (the Lord our healer) thank you for creating a new me. It has brought so much fulfillment, peace and joy to my life. Always guard my ways that I may never slide back into the sewer of filth I was wallowing in before You rescued me. Thank you for healing me of my bad habits and replacing them with life giving overflowing wondrous love. In the name of Jesus my Shalom I give thanks. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

      Hi Nikki.

Thank you for the wonderful encouraging comment.

      Hi teaches.

I too thank God I am not what I used to be. it is a blessing isn't it? I find the shows I used enjoy in my twenties and thirties to be rude and insulting now and don't watch them.

      God bless you.
