Each Day Is Just A Little Different

Updated on June 21, 2013

Each Day Is Just A Little Different

Each day is a little different than the day before.

Are you thinking of Heaven and Hell a little more?

Are you ever dreaming of walking a Golden Shore,

Does your soul long within to take that mighty soar?

At times when your life is quiet and you feel alone,

Down deep inside then you feel an inward groan.

Do you think of Salvation and the day you did atone?

Heading to Heaven with Jesus as a stepping Stone.

No other way to reach Heaven:try with all your might

You couldn't reach that far if you pray day and night.

You must hold onto Jesus and hang on oh so tight,

He holds keys to the Kingdom , makes all things right.

When we meet Jesus we must stay near Him every day,

We will follow Him so closely for He knows the Only Way.

When we arrive at Heaven we will never more stray.

The joy of this new life so glorious words couldn't say.

Each day man grows more wicked ;it's always the same.

We look around and wonder where to place the blame.

Man has cursed God and they have profaned His Name

Still; one day that will all change as Jesus we proclaim !

Some will shout and praise Him , while others only cry.

They had rejected Him and taught to believe Satan's lie.

They will fall to their knees to pray ; but they can only try.

Our Lord Jesus Christ is here; they can no longer deny.

Oh , what can this man do ,and what can he really say?

He realizes now that he has just thrown his life away.

Too late, he knows now is it forever too late to pray

He knows that without a doubt this is life's saddest day !

He will think of all of the chances in life that he has had.

He will think of his life now, the good and all of the bad.

Then he remembers happy days and some were sad,

He'll remember days of his youth with his Mom and Dad.

Now he sees a creature coming with such a horrible face,

He looks for somewhere to hide but he can't find a place.

Life on earth has ended and he's finished his earthly race.

Nothing to take to Judgment now except sin and disgrace!

Hi, Clara. Faith Reaper and I decided to do Hug of the Day and you made the first Hug that I did. Hope you don't mind. I left some of your links for people to come read you. I think you are a wonderful person and writer and I hope some new ones will find and read you. If you want to see it just click on me and then Hug of the Day. If you don't that is OK too. Just wanted you to know.

Thank You,Ms Dora, We must stay with Him every day , in this old world today there are so many things to keep us busy and if we let them we can easily lose our close contact with The Lord. Satan knows that so he is always trying to keep us busy with all of those things that he makes seem so important. Don't listen to him we ,only have one life and The Lord must come first.Love, Clara

"When we meet Jesus we must stay near Him every day." Nothing to fear if we live by this rule. Thanks for your godly instructions.

Thank you, Mabel , for your comment of encouragement. I am glad that God gives the increase, I never was too much of a gardener,I helped my husband but he and his mother was the ones who knew what they were doing , I just helped them but this project with the poems is the Lord's and mine and if it wasn't for Him I would not be doing very good with them. Thank you for your message ,I needed that . love, Clara

Hi Clara: You are doing what is inspired in your heart to do. Only the Lord really knows the good we are doing, we are sowing seeds and just like in the parable of the sower; the ground is important. This is when we pray over that seed and we must trust the Holy Spirit to prepare the hearts to receive it. Therefore, do we sow with the intentional purpose of that seed landing into good ground and bringing forth good fruit, some 30, 60 and 100 fold. You are doing good and sowing seeds and only the Lord can give the increase. Be encouraged!

Hello Ann, Yes, That would be nice if Hub Pages or someone else would take my poems and publish them and I could get a little money out of them. I have thought about it but at my age I can not do it , neither time or money. I have had people say why don't you publish them , but they don't realize that I am not able to take anything more to do anymore.I will try to write all of the poems that God sends me but: at my age and health wise I can't do any more. When I started to write these poems I had no thought of ever making any money on them ,it was just to write for The Lord. Trying to get people to come to Him was what I wanted but I am not sure if I have ever done any good at that. I hope so anyway.good to hear from you Ann, Love ,Clara

Hello Karen, thank you for the nice comment , I am glad that you liked it . I was not sure when I put it on here how it would go over with people. There are times when I wonder if it might offend rather than help some that really need The Lord. At times it is just a little iffy there, If it will be a help or a stumbling block, but when God gives them to me I have to try to write and put it on here . When He gives me a poem I have to do the best that I can and put it on here. Thanks for your vote . Love , Clara

Hi Clara. Wouldn't it be nice if you could take all your poems and put them in a book? I wish hubpages offered that option. I know a lot of people would take them up on that offer. Keep writing.

      Hi dearest Clara,

Yes, Jesus, for sure is the only way we are ever going through heavens gates! He is our righteousness! So let us cling to Him. Let us cleave ourselves ever closer to Him. Let us know, oh God, that we are ONLY perfect in Christ. Nothing nor any way else. Hope you are well Clara. God Bless Voted awesome and up

Very reflective and thought-provoking piece here as to be mindful to stay close to our sweet Lord. Our time here is very short, and soon we will be with him, and that will be a glorious day for us, but we must continue to tell of the Good News to those who do not yet know Him.

      Voted up +++ and sharing

God bless you. In His Love, Faith Reaper
