Evil Virus Spread by Our Ego

Purpose in Life - to live in Jesus, our Master

Confusion in Our True Purpose in Life

"Lisa, have you heard about the flash flood in the Philippines? Around fourteen hundred people dead or missing with many more homeless, could you imagine that?"

"Oh how tragic, yes I learned about it too when I started browsing on my new ipad. By the way, I'm going to replace my old outdated unit with the latest version in the market today as soon as my possible lotto winnings may allow me, it pays to dream, huh (chuckles)? You've always been so quiet whenever I say that."

"There's a prayer meeting this Friday but it's Levi's big party, and they're having karaoke night."

"Okay, we can attend the prayer meeting some other time, It's been a long time since I sang on karaoke, I need to do some exercises with my vocal chords."

"The new iphone 5 is coming, OMG I'm so excited I just can't wait to get one, well, for every rumour comes reality, I can believe in that."

"I heard it in the news this morning, Syria has seen so many protesters shot and killed by government soldiers lately, oh my, what's going on in that part of the world, don't they value life?"

"Honey, we're too far from Syria, you don't have to worry about that. Oops, I've got to go, I don't want to miss work, or I won't be able to pay for what we lost at the casino. And don't forget to call your favorite doctor for an abortion appointment next weekend, we cannot afford to have another baby, Honey."

"Okay I will, sweetheart. I saw Lisa with a great Bose Sound Dock for her iphone and I'm jealous, that will be our next project, my dear, or you will regret it."

If above phrases or conversations sound familiar, they probably are. You may have heard them in a number of households.

Above names are, of course, fictitious, with the given scenarios.

All these, as in all of my writings, are not intended to malign or condemn, rather, to learn and be guided from it all and see how we may have forgotten the essence of God in our lives, while we may have allowed evil to continuously lurk in our midst.

[Read on post: Beware of Evil Deceptions - Watch and Be Guided through Sharon Lee Giganti, Apologetics Speaker]

Meanwhile, in a neighbor's house, Lisa brags, "My friend Hai purchased a big beautiful house with a jacuzzi right beside their eternity pool overlooking the sea, why not come with me, Cheezy, we'll go join her in a potluck community acquaintance party she has planned for the weekend. Now I can use my newly approved credit card with 1 year zero APR with purchase rewards on it."

It is so sad how we have become so entrenched into materialism that we have forgotten our true purpose in this life and the reason for our being.

We sometimes forget to even care for those who have lost their homes, their families, and even our own relatives in calamities, disasters or in violence or massacres within and outside this once greatly blessed nation of milk and honey, now slowly being consumed by the flames of materialism caused by the quickly spreading virus of evil into our hearts and spirit, produced and propagated by our own 'ego,' the very friend of evil in us.

Isaiah 58:7 reminds us to cloth the naked, share our food and shelter with the homeless, and not to refuse helping our own relatives as disaster strikes or as a need arises.

And in Matthew 25:40, Jesus said, "And the King shall answer and say unto them: 'Verily, I say unto you, inasmuch as ye did it unto one of these my brethren, even these least, ye did it unto me."

What if these destructive elements of nature and violence from misguided mortals with questionable morals, come upon us all with our loved ones, God forbid, blown down to kingdom come and unto a state of merciless agony with the fury of hell engulfing the whole of our being?

Perhaps, that will be the day when there would be 'weeping, grinding and the gnashing of teeth,' when God will have unleashed his wrath on those who have chosen to deny him in Christ Jesus, and those who remain blind and continue to ignore his commands and the wisdom in his words, more so with those who have not learned to humble themselves to the greatest commandment all which is to love God while we show our love and concern for others as well.

This is when we totally surrender our 'self' and 'ego' and offer it to God in Christ Jesus, the love of the one true God in him and to the love of our neighbors.

Acknowledging this truth of God's existence in Christ Jesus, our Lord and Savior, who has always shown his love for us all being our God and Creator, and in the truth and power of his words, the more we may be blessed as he delights in those who believe, follow, praise, worship and honor him as our All in All.

Our Ego and the Virus in Us

We may compare the human body to that of a computer programmed by God to respond well to his will, his commands and his bidding.

Our ego and our flesh being made into Satan's greatest resource in us, as he sees us weak in both of these entry points, he brilliantly hacks into our being attacking first our mind, the human intelligence, where our ego remains cradled in care.

Then he goes to our body having successfully gained access to our mind.

This is when 'laminin,' the protein molecule that binds the cells and tissues together in the human body, in the form of a 'cross' - which I firmly believe has become part of our body since the beginning of creation, and yes, not by any coincidence but by 'Divine plan' - may break, inviting even powerful viruses that may affect our health, physically, as the ill effect of a weakened spirit.

[Read on related post, as you may see God's kingdom in you, in the humility of our soul: 'Awesome 'Laminin,' Binding Truth of the Cross and Creation, and Avoiding Hell and Generational Sins]

[Read on the 'salvation tool' on this link, "Understanding God in Spirit and Christ's Saving Light," and see the fullness of Christ in you]

Whence, as our flesh weakens allowing it to submit to his evil ways, we may find our health to gradually deteriorate in sin.

Still capitalizing on his control of our mind and body, he then attacks our heart.

And the heart being a window to our soul and our spirit, he continuously pressures our soul into submission to his will, and that without faith in the love of Christ, we may find ourselves gradually weakened from stress and pressure, with no peace in ourselves we find ourselves lost in total confusion.

Our own fears, anxieties, and insecurities have exacted a heavy toll on us. Physically, emotionally and spiritually we have been weakened.

Satan and all his evil forces have in many ways been successful in pulling many of us to his evil ways, and he will never sleep as he tries his very best to pull us farther away from our God until he may totally succeed, removing that very hope we may have in Jesus by making us believe that God in Jesus does not exist, and if ever anyone believes in Jesus, to try to slowly diminish that faith from a believer's heart and change it to another god who may replicate some of the goodness and happiness that Jesus embodies but is truly not that of Jesus but a fraud, evil that is coated by goodness, a wise trap that is designed to catch all unassuming souls into submission to sin, whence, sin and evil become their master, not Jesus, because of doubts in their hearts, doubts that make one totally confused, doubts that can be very costly as they entail you to submission to another master, Satan, the evil one, where there is the absence of God, as in hell, where one may feel having been damned by God as he has denied Jesus, the creator of his body and the savior or his spirit.

This is when the spirit weakens by the prodding of the flesh overruled by fear and indecision.

And sometimes, as God moves in mysterious ways, we find our love ones sick or on the hospital bed afflicted with a heart ailment, a viral disease, had an accident or what have you, so we may further express our love and concern for that loved one, and that deep in our hearts we may learn to pray and try to examine our conscience as we may seek guidance, enlightenment and strength from the Holy Spirit, or even pray for forgiveness as we may not have done enough to show our love for our sick brethren, and feeling that guilt, we may learn to repent, redeem ourselves and renew in heart and spirit in the light of Jesus.

[Read on: Jesus - In All of Mankind Since Creation, He is Beyond Religion as He is in our Being]

Sometimes, pressures, stress and the feeling of being left out and unloved, out of disappointments, sadness and despair, one may be weakened in spirit, with bodily health affected. Then we may realize, this person needs our love, our greater understanding and care.

Watching the YouTube video on "A Dying Man's Last Words" below, we may want to see how Herbert Broome on his deathbed, as recorded by his son upon his wish that others may know and believe, relates his vision of Hell as revealed to him by God and the truth in Jesus.

Doubts in Jesus make one weak in faith, and that is what the unclean spirit is always hoping for, that he may succeed in deceiving us to his will and derails us to his path.

How do we know if a belief comes from the evil one and not from God?

A very good question indeed.

Is not the human 'body the temple of the Holy Spirit and is not our own' as In 1 Corinthians 6:19? And having been created in the image and likeness of God, is not anything that leads to irreverence and disrespect to life 'evil,' as is the desecration and abuse of the body in any form such as tattoos, body and skin piercing, burning of the human body in protest, drug abuse, sodomy, pedophilia and more, believing only in what our selfish desires so dictate?

Blessed is the soul who remains saved in the light of Christ for he remains humble in obedience to his faith, and for one who remains blind and refuses to see what is true, easily overwhelmed by his own emotions, exuding arrogance, selfishness, and unwittingly banners his vain disposition with pride, yet lacking with compassion and forgiveness for the lowly and the downtrodden, one may soon find himself fall in disbelief as he stumbles and fails, having clung to the venomous fangs of evil.

Let us remember what Jesus has shared in the mount, before a huge crowd gathered as they attentively listened, touched and mesmerized by his words of wisdom, he said, "Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth," as in Matthew 5:5.

[Read on related post: Love and Unity with God is of Christ, Divisiveness is of Evil]

Hence, the more, all should be wary that anything that keeps us away from God in Jesus and from the truth in his words, all these may very well come from the evil one.

Let us not fall from this deception of Satan and his evil forces, rather, stay focused in living, believing and staying in the light of Christ Jesus, and remain safe in his protection as we learn to become stronger and steadfast in our faith and by the good deeds we offer, living in the love of others, we may see true peace and harmony prevailing in our life.

May we not be overwhelmed by material things, rather, use material things to propagate what is good and pleasing to God, that in all these, he may always be acknowledged, in praise, glory and thanksgiving.

And it is only in living in Christ Jesus and following his words, will we be empowered to be stronger in keeping the evil virus, or the unclean spirit which unceasingly attempts to get through our defenses, be immediately and vehemently rejected and kept away from our 'ego,' Satan's main target or goal to befriend, often masked in treachery.

If we do not have Christ in us and if we do not follow his WORDS of love with humility, accountability and forgiveness, we may fail in our our fight against all evil because it is only in God's words in Jesus and staying in his grace that we may be shielded and protected.

Not until we may see ourselves succeed in driving out Satan and his minions from our body and spirit will we remain under his bondage.

Having said this, let us stay prayerful and ask the Holy Spirit for that gift of 'discernment,' and see the power of repentance, that in God's mercy we may be guided to the powerful use of God's words at the right time, at the right place and situation, not in a hostile environment.

As in Matthew 7:6, Jesus said, "Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under your feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces."

Nevertheless, in any given situation, as one true believer may experience, trust your spiritual intuition that the Holy Spirit may guide and protect you from harms' way all the time.

'God will never forsake us, as we put our faith and trust in Him.'

In Matthew 18:15 -18, Jesus tells us to talk privately with anyone whom you feel needs to be guided in God's words. And if you feel it necessary, bring in two or more witnesses that may help convey these words as you may speak in love and in truth.

Believing that 'prayers can move mountains,' may we never discount the power of prayers, as God listens to a true, sincere and contrite heart.

And I even find singing praise and worship songs sometimes while at work, at home, driving, walking or doing exercises and it comforts as it energizes me as well. It's one of the best way of talking to God as we try get intimately connected to him in Jesus.

No wonder we see many people healed of cancer and other dreaded diseases while listening to a nurse, a loved one, an acquaintance or an electronic gadget doing songs of praise and worship or sweet, mellow and soothing music.

And Jesus being the WORD, and the word made flesh as in John 1:14, that with him and believing in him we may become stronger than all evil, and greater than all powers and principalities combined, as in Colosians 2:6-15, empowered by his love and grace, we may have eternal life in us.

Overpowering Atheism and the Evil Virus Propagated from our Ego

On our YouTube video sharing above, we see International Minister and Apologist, Ravi Zacharias, answering an atheist, in this video referring to Anthony Flew, an ardent atheist who later in his life admitted finally believing the existence of God explaining the integrated complexity of the living world as proof of this.

Perhaps, as we age, nearing our death, we begin to reconsider our egoistic or agnostic views and learn to humble ourselves towards the inevitable which is death itself.

How selfish truly this may be as this can be self serving, that because of one's fear of death securing one's soul from the probable consequences of the afterlife may lead one to cling to a belief which has in the past haunted him, but never relenting despite tremendous pressure from believers that only one's ego or worst, one's incorrigible spirit, may endure over time.

And knowing and understanding atheists, the question 'if there is an afterlife,' comes still the element of doubt that each of us have entertained, in variations tempered by man's fickle nature and further incensed or aggravated by man's pride, as influenced by evil, that in accepting God's existence, one's ego comes depleted with the onset of humility in obedience to a Higher and Divine Being greater than one's mind and intelligence.

On this premise, many individuals have in many times been confused, and have been clouded on their beliefs. Their perseverance on their faith have been weakened by the insistence of their ego and of their flesh, leaving their elders' or great ancestors' wisdom relegated to the edge of antiquity, overpowered by contemporary and modern innovations of technology which have become a great insurmountable force that has many times, as piloted by evil, succeeded preying on man's very weakness, embodied by his ego and by his flesh, almost blocking all paths that may trigger that very powerful force from within us, as we share in the fullness of God's love, having been created by him, and inspired by his very own grand and Divine design, yes, truly, we have been created in his very image and likeness.

Sad Breaking News: Supreme Court Strikes down DOMA in California, Passes on Proposition 8

Reading on Yahoo News on June 26, 2013, I cannot help but comment on this sad news that the highest law of the land, the US Supreme Court, by a very slim margin, a 5:4 majority decision, has favored gay marriage in the state of California.
[Read on YahooNews link: "Update: Supreme Court Strikes Down DOMA, passes on Proposition 8"]
"I am saddened by these developments but no one should worry as I am not worried, rather, I continue to pray and will always strive to enlighten more people to the truth that material things and lust (or Mammon) are not everything as all these are but 'passing,' but 'God is (everything).'

God in Jesus is 'beyond religion,' He created us, He is in all of us, therefore, despite our 'free will,' He remains guiding and abiding through the Holy Spirit, whoever or whatever we are, unless we remain unbelieving and would rather believe in our own traditions and culture, or in the elemental spiritual forces of this world than in Christ, as in Colossians 2:8, then we may stay lost and confused.

Is God in control? Absolutely, He knows that this will happen in many peoples' hardened hearts and souls just as what has happened in past histories of man. God will continue to guide and enlighten us with signs in our life that will bring us back to His truth for He is an ever loving and merciful God, lest we will ourselves to remain blind refusing to believe in the power of His words, we may never understand His truth.

Even in our own pride where evil breeds the virus of darkness ready to devour us, that dictates in us to believe more on human knowledge and wisdom rather than God's divine wisdom, to do what is against God's words in the Holy Bible, but are these not all 'passing?' When we die, will we have anything? As when we were born, we had nothing, we are but history when we die, remain meaningless, lest we may leave a legacy of truth, we may be remembered to have helped change people's lives for the better, for something eternal and united in God's love that is noble and true, that which lasts forever, and will it not be our spirit that will be judged whom we have bonded ourselves more with, with God in Jesus and His words, or with Mammon?

And in this lifetime, anyone who goes against God's words and deny the truth in Christ Jesus has already condemned himself as in John 3:18. And the words of God will never pass away, as in Matthew 24:35, Jesus said, "Heaven and earth will pass away, but my word will never pass away." Godspeed as we KJOH."
In true repentance and renewal, with an ever loving and forgiving God in Christ Jesus, and living by faith and remaining in God's grace in the guidance of the Holy Spirit, may we find greater peace and joy in our hearts and spirit, in the forgiveness of our sins, as we pray for one another, in Jesus' name, Amen.

Jesus our True God and Master

I remembered sharing the next verse in one of my previous hubs, I can now see its greater importance and the need to deeply understand and reflect on this powerful verse in Luke 16:13, that man, by virtue of his own 'free will,' in this life journey, may we wisely choose the right path towards our salvation, as one is asked, almost every time along his way, to choose between two masters, not in any way in between.

Indecision may lead one to be caught in a trap by powerful forces of evil.

While closely watching on us, like a chess master who is ever anxious anticipating your next move, the evil one waits incessantly for a wrong move. He wants us to falter in our decisions.

For every indecision, you may see a compromise designed to make you feel happy and comfortable, just to make sure he gets you inside his pocket. Deception comes to fore as he is and will always be the 'master of deception.'

In due time, as one may observe in one's life, we may see some signs reminding us of our unfaithfulness to God commands. Or sometimes, what may happen unexpectedly as it comes, is a way of a test of our faith. We are made accountable in all our actions whether others know it or not. God knows what is in our hearts. We cannot escape from His all knowing eyes.

We need to beware, therefore:

  • in making hasty decisions on money matters at the expense of others because of perceived high returns for fast money sacrificing money saved intended for your love ones;
  • in giving in to corruption because it has become the norm in the office or community;
  • in giving in to sins of lust confident that nobody will know as you may always expect forgiveness doing confession;
  • in talking and yelling garbage at your loves ones and being temperamental or sometimes arrogant and vindictive because that is the 'way you are' in making your point;
  • many times being manipulative, playing favorites in the family so you may achieve your selfish ends;
  • wife henpecking or nagging at her husband, a husband being far out obnoxious, or a very demanding and inconsiderate boss - all upholding the misconception that yelling out one's point and defending one's selfish action as the 'best approach' as it 'projects power' and seen to 'yield better results;'
  • choosing to live outside of marriage, or if choosing to marry, the 'fastest way being the best and more economical option,' or choosing the temptation to divorce a spouse out of the lures of pride and of sins of lust, a shortcut to carnal happiness as 'simply a matter of choice' in total disregard to possible sacred vows made to God and the greater pressures leaving children in despair, sad in confusion and bewilderment;
  • keeping wrongdoings a 'secret' within the family or office and many times refusing to accept your own mistakes with that preconceived notion of being misunderstood or fear of losing your self esteem while wearing a mask of honesty and good intentions;
  • being habitually addicted to video or computer games, and other fun or card games which may stimulate the mind and improve memory if done in moderation, but anything beyond may be considered as gross, may become destructive to learning, even memory and health;
  • being a bad or wrong role model in the family, church or office by not following what you preach;
  • shying away from former acquaintances because of that feeling of bitterness and malice in yourself while finding it hard to forgive ...

and several other practices you may relate to, which when dissected, may give you fast results in your favor, temporarily that is, to say the least, and as time pass, while reflecting on previous mistakes made, you may see a growing uncontrollable conflict brewing, chaos, disorder, disunity and misunderstandings because of erroneous moves brought about by wrong decisions, with wrong paths taken out of pride, greed and selfishness.

Without you realizing it, your ego has been propagating what is evil all along.

Where did love and forgiveness go?

That constant feeling of guilt or the urge to retaliate may become a common practice in the family, within the office or community that may eventually curtail much of our freedom as we may not have peace in ourselves.

Was there no decision made to show love and forgiveness, or ask forgiveness as and when necessary?

What if one would rather learn and practice assertiveness, with better control of his emotions, speak what is true, with love and care 'to speak out of love,' and always, with that deep sense of responsibility and accountability in our actions, based on what is moral as against what is not, backed by what is true, noble and just in accordance with the principles of 'love' embodied in the words of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ?

Feelings of insecurity sometimes encourage us to be dishonest to ourselves and to others, that even in answering phone calls we may become deceitful or lose our self respect as we may find ourselves defensively arrogant and insulting. Or when we purposely refuse to answer or return phone calls to avoid creditors or well meaning friends, are we not escaping from the truth and from accountability, or do we not even feel the guilt of returning a favor or acts of love from a friend? Do our actions not reflect malice and deception?

What if we decide to return or advance that favor, the love shared to a friend or a love one, will this not gain us more what is due in love and respect? And will it not be smarter to face reality as we so decide to move forward, keeping that peace in ourselves, and seeing that positive value of every experience in our growth?

Many times we create our own barriers out of false anxieties and fear to face the truth. We do not realize that the more we escape from the truth the more we bury ourselves in sin, where true peace and happiness may not reign in our decision to deceive, to hate, to be bitter, to be arrogant and to be uncaring out of vain conceit.

Do these not add more stress in our life that may weaken our immune system and make us ill? Worst if this may cause more unexpected trouble or violence out of a wounded ego and a heart that refuses to forgive.

What if we try facing all of our insecurities and entrust all our fears to Jesus, let love rule in our hearts, not evil propelled by foolishness in our ego and our pride, learn to repent as we may better recognize the power of humility and obedience to Christ, and be willing to also forgive as we embrace renewal from within our hearts, sincerely praying while surrendering our hurts, the bitterness inside of us, lifting up to Jesus all our troubles, all our anxieties, all our sins and all our inequities in life, and by the blood of Jesus poured down from the cross, and by his love and mercy, we may be healed.

He wants us back in his flock, he wants us renewed in him, he wants us fully healed from the bruises of our sins, and as we reject Satan from deep down our hearts and spirit, we may be freed from the bondage of sin.

Christ wants us to stay stronger in our faith. He wants us to know and realize that he is in us, that he has always been, in our body, in our hearts and in our spirit if we so acknowledge him as our Master.

Living in Grace by the Power of the Blood of Christ Jesus

If we may so choose every time and any time we may be put to the test, we may remain blessed in his grace, by the power of the blood of Christ Jesus, pouring down for the redemption of man in the forgiveness of our sins.

Through faith and by good works, with love, humility and forgiveness ever flowing from our hearts and spirit, then and only then, may we be granted to receive the fullness of his gifts by the power of his love, whence, in all these, in us may bring, true peace, happiness, and enormous joy in both our body and our spirit,

As for me, everyday I see myself, my family, and all the rest of creation move in our existence, I can many times see and perceive the perfect harmony of our being unraveled in sync with our Creator, and the more I pray and dig deep into my heart and soul, I can feel God's assuring presence within and around me in Christ Jesus, with all doubts removed from my mind of his omnipotence and his omniscience, his ever present and ever knowing nature, his power and his greatness is all in the majesty of his being, as his love, unconditional as it may be, remains fair and just, and yes, it endures forever.

"For this I am forever grateful, that by the power of his blood, and now fully healed by his blood, living in his grace, in the guidance of the Holy Spirit, I proclaim his glory and victory in man's quest to overcome all evil from within me and outside of my body and spirit, that in the Almighty Name of Christ Jesus, inspired by the power of his great love and mercy for us and the whole of mankind, we may all be one against all evil and worldly powers in this life."

By his love and inspired by his words of truth, I have learned to grasp the true meaning of my being and the rest of this complex world being made simple by that singular 'faith and trust in him,' opening new and ever growing horizons never seen and felt before from within my heart and spirit, with only my flesh and my ego becoming an expected and inevitable obstacle to this union in its fullness.

Give credit to whom it is due, my friends.

As Christ has said, in Mark 12:17, to give and render to Ceasar what belongs to Ceasar, and to God what belongs to God. If God is greater than Ceasar and greater than everything in existence, then should he not deserve all our praise, glory and thanksgiving?

Let go and let God, and all these things will be added unto us and unto our spirit.

May we learn to trust in Jesus, and believe in his words, and that only in Christ Jesus we may be set free, for he is "the truth, the way and the life," as in John 14:6.

Once we surrender our ego in all obedience and humility to Christ Jesus, then and only then, may we see the fullness of Christ's power, love and mercy in us, and as we do this surrendering our 'self' to him as we prayerfully repent for all of our sins , we may say that we have passed the test in this life's Purgatory, free from all guilt ready to be embraced by God as we may so decide to stay living in his love in his grace.

[Read on related post: The Truth in Purgatory as Revealed by God to Saint Catherine of Genoa]

May we ever be vigilant, and at all times may we choose to keep Jesus in our hearts (KJOH), and in the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we may continue to succeed in this daunting task to once and for all reject Satan and his evil ways by attuning our ego into championing the truth in God's words and in God's love in Jesus, that with him and in him, we are truly saved, forever.

Start liking Let's KJOH - Keep Jesus in our Hearts on our facebook page as we help spread the light of Christ in this world and make a difference in Jesus' name, for greater peace, for love, and for unity among all of mankind for Jesus is in all of us, in our being, waiting to be revealed, as in Colossians 3:1-17, as Jesus encourages us to trust in him, surrendering all our fears and anxieties, and be united in glorifying him in ever good deed we make in our own field of expertise, with our God given gifts, make this world a better place to live and share in his light as we try, in our own special way, for God's greater glory.

      Ron Artest, now Metta World Peace, did it again. And this time, against James Harden during the LA Lakers NBA game with the Oklahoma City Thunder,

      Most of the times, it is those trying times that you want to renew and become a better person that you get tempted, and viola, before you know it, it's your ego that betrays you as your adrenalin and your emotions run high, quickly reacting from your wounded pride. It can happen to anybody.

      And without that humility and self-control, without that greater urgency of respect and forgiveness on ourselves as we may apply the same respect and forgiveness on others, are we not bound to come out on a win-win situation? Will this not be way better than a sorry or a losing situation?

      Humility comes before honor, and as in Proverbs 18:12, "Before destruction the heart of man is haughty. But humility goes before honor." And in Matthew 5:5, Jesus said among the 8 Beatitudes, "Blessed are the meek for they will inherit the earth."

      Mitt Romney seems to be lost on his tracks, as you may read from this post, Is he not having the same issues as those of Obama? What makes them different from each other then? Economic issues and concerns may only lead us back to square one, with little or no improvement in our economy. Moral and social issues are what may need to be addressed as material greed and anxieties over a growing aging population are what many political leaders seem to be troubled or confused with. All these may become revolving issues if we deny the root causes of our piling problems from within.

      How can we settle economic issues when we have moral and social issues that continue to cause failures in the economic system and in the destruction as well as to the death to many.

      I firmly believe that a sound spirit under God's guidance in Christ leads to a healthy mind, devoid of malice, foolish pride and greed. A sound government guided by the principles of honesty, integrity and good morals lead to a sound economy, where true patriotism and sacrifice for the common good may be derived as there is trust, faith and love for God, country and people.

      The more we deviate from the words of God in Christ, the more we are prone to evil ways which create confusion and chaos in our ways. Spiritual healing is what we need as we see our weakening spirit of our populace from the onslaught of sinful and evil ways in our midst. Spiritual warfare is the call of the times to help solve all other issues in our ailing nation. And we're better equipped in the words of Christ Jesus in the realities of this fast changing and deteriorating world.

      Our love for country and our children calls for us to return to God and give back this glory to God and his people. Only then may we see our nation redeemed as it heals from its wounds.

      If President Obama and other political leaders of every nation heed God's call in Jesus, to listen and protect the innocent from abortion and senseless violence and killings by upholding what is true in Christ's words as he is in all of mankind waiting for his call back to his flock, then we may see great peace and joy from all peoples in the world as they see themselves freed from evil by opening up and believing in Jesus.

      Impossible? Nothing is impossible with God. And we know that prayers can move mountains. Let's all join hands in prayer, in the silence of our hearts, as we invoke the Holy Spirit to guide us in this prayer that Jesus, in the power of his love and mercy upon all men, may show us the way to his will that more people may be enlightened onto his path, in this life and in the life ahead which is most important as it is 'eternal.'

      As in today's Second Reading in Romans 8:31-34, "Brothers and sisters: If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son but handed him over for us all, how will he not also give us everything else along with him?

      "Who will bring a charge against God's chosen ones? It is God who acquits us. Who will condemn? Christ Jesus it is who died - or, rather, was raised - who also is at the right hand of God, who indeed intercedes for us."

      May the power of God in Christ Jesus deliver us all from our fears and anxieties, rather, be strengthened in upholding what is true and just for peace and unity among all men, for the love of our One True God in Jesus, being One with the Father, in whom we have all been created, that we may all see the glory of God in us, in our concern and love for life and freedom from the bondage of sin as we ask for his mercy and forgiveness.

      I received a very enlightening email today and I wish to share this with you, to help us realize what we need to help overpower evil in this world, it's about a 'perplexed teacher,' from Don and Linda Rutherford:

      After being interviewed by the school administration, the prospective teacher said:

      'Let me see if I've got this right.

      'You want me to go into that room with all those kids, correct their

      disruptive behavior, observe them for signs of abuse, monitor their dress

      habits, censor their T-shirt messages, and instill in them a love for

      'You want me to check their backpacks for weapons, wage war on drugs

      and sexually transmitted diseases, and raise their sense of self esteem and

      personal pride.

      'You want me to teach them patriotism and good citizenship,

      sportsmanship and fair play, and how to register to vote, balance a

      chequebook, and apply for a job.

      'You want me to check their heads for lice, recognize signs of

      antisocial behavior, and make sure that they all pass the final exams.

      'You also want me to provide them with an equal education regardless

      of their handicaps, and communicate regularly with their parents in English,

      Spanish or any other language, by letter, telephone, newsletter, and report

      'You want me to do all this with a piece of chalk, a blackboard, a

      bulletin board, a few books, a big smile, and a starting salary that

      qualifies me for food stamps.

      'You want me to do all this and then you tell me... I Can't Pray!???!

      Whatever lies from deep within our hearts and spirit we can never hide, our all knowing God in Jesus knows everything what's deep down inside; pray that we may learn to renew and repent, like a pure white immaculate magnolia in the light of Christ in this life nothing more but lent.

      Nice to hear about Kobe seen to be moving towards reconciling with his wife. Way to go Kobe as you may see light in God's words as in Ephesians 5:25, "Husbands, love your wife as Christ loved his church and gave himself up for her," that in love and forgiveness, there may be peace, harmony, oneness and happiness, and that there may be eternal life in us.

      Watching NBA sensation Jeremy Lin gives us a giving guy, he never hesitates to give awesome assists that convert to points for the Knicks. This is one good example of being giving, regardless who makes the point, as long as the team wins, watch this link as we see ourselves win when we learn to give and be selfless in helping our teammates win,, as helping others is key to winning in this life.

      I was hearing on radio last night about a commentator talking with his 14 year old daughter. After asking her daughter what she thought about same sex marriage, I was surprised how he even agreed with his daughter when the latter supported same sex marriage.

      Wow! How sad, a father would rather listen to his daughter than listen to his conscience? God did show his wrath to evil acts and sins of lust among homosexuals in Sodom and Gomorrah for nothing, or caused the fall of the Roman Empire because of same lewd sexual practices, among other reasons.

      May we be guided back to God as we open our eyes that God wants us to respect the human body as it is the Temple of God, or it's pure sacrilege. In man's ego, he may get lost as evil wants us to be happy temporarily that he may rejoice in our shortsightedness, and perhaps, take hold of our soul, God forbid, as we fall into his trap. Let's show our concern and love for our neighbors, and our nation by opposing whatever is against the will of God in us, that we, our family and our nation may be blessed and healed.

      True humility is to be submissive to the will of God and to his words of wisdom, but steadfast in faith against all evil in this life, never fearful and never to bog down against all odds while speaking with authority, with fervor and vigor, guided by God's love and mercy, flaming with tongues of fire from our hearts and spirit, and through the power of the Holy Spirit.

      May more people see the light of Christ in this life, as all true Christian faithfuls may join me in this hope in prayer, as we care for the redemption of all souls, especially those with a hardened mind and those since childhood grew up with a different faith or with a different understanding of who Jesus really is.

      'Pray and pray hard and open our hearts and spirit to Jesus, that by and in his grace, we may see the truth and believe that he is the only way to life eternal, and he is above all things, all powers, all principalities and dominions as he the "fullness of the deity bodily," as in Colossians 2:6-15, being the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings, as in Revelation 19:16. All these we ask in Jesus' name, Amen.'

      Come to think of it, why do we usually allow ourselves to be duped into sin when happiness in this life comes out to be so short, yes, my friends, 'very short,' as what this whole life promises ... as compared to eternity, as when we become One in Christ?

      It is in the weakness of our flesh that we allow money to rule us, not the other way around. We have been made by God to give back to God what is due him, and it is our life, as we all belong to him. If there is love and forgiveness with accountability and productivity, then there must be true peace and happiness.

      It may sound absurd, but it is possible if more and more people may believe in the power of ONE, the ONE true God in Christ Jesus.

      Only in living in humility and obedience to God will we be able to see this happen. Are we ready for this, clearly, not so, yet. Later, perhaps? Only God knows when in Christ's second coming. Just make sure we all need to be ready for this.

      Once we may be renewed in Christ, comes the challenge of being fruitful in spreading the good news to all men and in his grace, empowered by his words to be stronger against all evil.

      The ego dies in anyone's death. That is when we come to realize the certainty of death and how meaningless life may have become if we only have loved ourselves and have ignored the truth of our being, that without God we are nothing, whatever we have done in this life, God in Christ Jesus will judge us all, and God will 'repay.'

      A dying man's last wish in his last words about the realities of Hell and the truth in Jesus comes added to this post as a startling revelation.

      Humility in accepting once's faults and mistakes may be difficult to do, but it is what makes any person greater than himself, for in this, he learns how powerful he may be against all evil, for in humility, he may find himself cleansed from his sins as he finds forgiveness with joy and fullness in his heart and spirit, and peace in his body, in his mind and from within his soul, whence, he becomes one with God, in Christ Jesus, where he is kept secured, ever faithful, ever trustful as he lives in his saving grace, in his love and in his protection.

      It is in our weakness that we must take pride in as in 2 Corinthians 12:10, that is in the weakness of our heart and spirit as in being meek, humble and obedient to God's words and in accepting the reality of our sinfulness, for as long as we live in this material world, we have a tendency to be lured by lust and material things. But it is in our willingness to renew and return back to God in Christ, that we may become stronger in both both body and spirit. That is when we may radiate, the light of Christ from within us, and what true peace and happiness this may bring in this life.

      You're right WD, difficult as it may seem, the feeling of oneness in Christ sees the ego and the flesh the very obstacle of this fullness. That is why our faith, and our true and good intentions are always worthy of one's praise.

      I have come to realize how our human mind can be so controlled by our ego and made powerful that it may help propagate evil within and around us.
