Established As A Believer, Established In Righteousness & Established In Truth!

Updated on September 23, 2009

Being Established In The Word Opens Door That No Man Can Shut

Being Established Is A Must For The Believer

Being established is a word very few Christians live up to. To be established is something that we as believers should all fight to be according to the Word of God and to the grace where by He has given us.

But it's sad to say that most believers never come to be established in The Word of God, in righteousness, in the truth, or anything of importance much these days.

Every believer should be established in the Word of God, to be settled and fixed so that he wont be blew away by every wind and doctrine that is not according to what Jesus and His Holy Apostles and Prophets taught.

We as believers in Christ Jesus should know what we are in Christ, and know it so well that no matter what may come our way, we will be able to stand up because we have being rooted and grounded and established in The Word of Righteousness and Power.

We should also know what Christ is to us, and what He has done for us but the only way to know this is to become hungry and feed on the Word of God so that he can show us Himself and establish us, strengthen us.

We should have the attitude that no matter what may happen or come my way, that i can make it. This is not prideful, or should it come off that way, but its simply knowing who Jesus is to you and being so rooted and established in this that it gives you the faith to stand up life challenges.

Being a believer we should know what the Word is to us, what it means to us, and even what the Father intended it should mean to us individually.

God's Word is the food of the recreated spirit. His Word is the mightiest and most powerful thing in all the world. It can kill and make alive all at the same time, it cuts and heals!

Every believer should know what the Name of Jesus can mean to him in his daily life, and be so established in this knowledge, so that no matter what happens, he is a victor, and more than a conqueror.

Jesus says, "In my name ye shall cast out demons." (Mark 16:17-20.) We as believers in Christ Jesus should be established in this truth. But instead many are established in weakness; they live under the shadow of it.

Others are established in fear, in the sense of sin, and the sense of lack and inability. We have to learn and must learn how to be established in the Word of God!

2 Peter 1:12, "Wherefore i shall be ready always to put you in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and are established in the truth which is with you."

Romans 8:31-38 is God's photograph of the established believer."If God is for us, who is against us?" We should be established in this truth.

To be established, one must know FIRST that God is for you and not against you, and that He so love you that he gave His only Son to die for you! He is our Father, and we as fathers know what it is to have a son or a daughter and how you would do anything for them.

How much the more so for Jesus Christ our heavenly Father who is in Heaven, how shall He not also with Him freely give us all things? We must be established in that and believe that with all our heart.

Who shall lay anything to the charge of God's elect?

No one, so to everyone who thinks they are not good enough, thinks that they are to weak, or that they have fallen to far. That's nonsense, and it's a lie!

God loves you and gave up His only Son so that you can be saved, set free, strengthen and established.

Amen twill4jc! Being established in the word of God reminds me of Psalm 1:3, "They are like trees planted by streams of water, which yield their fruit in its season, and their leaves do not wither. In all that they do, they prosper." A challenging hub you have here.
