I am a photographer, published artist and writer. I am a makeup artist student, and studying herbs. I love to write and share my view points

I had a visitor from one of hubs write to me and ask me a question about something not related to angels. After a few emails, the topic of angels manifested, which lead me to write this hub.

Often in life, we experience many things that sometimes make us stop and shake our heads in disbelief. Could that really of happened? Did I honestly just feel, what I felt? Was that just a coincidence? The more we think about things, the more questions we create.

As a very young child, being raised by a full-blooded Silician grandmother, needless to say, I was taught at a young age to believe in angels. For some unknown reason, my grandmother would always assure me that I was never alone, that angels were always all around me. Needless, to say not only were angels around me, but so were spirits which I will save for another story.

So the story I am about to share is true. It actually happened to me several years ago, and this was not the first time I had experienced something like this. I choose to share this story because it still stirs a reaction in my heart like it happened yesterday.

Send me an Angel

An Angel's Hand

Several years ago, early one morning, I got up and was getting ready for work, just doing my regular routine like any other day. Nothing was out of the norm, just a basic warm summer morning in Georgia.

Driving to work, my mind started to wonder (driving is a good time for me to think) anyway, I remember that morning watching the sky and feeling so blessed I was able to experience it. I usually took back roads because there was less traffic and I hate the rushing hustle and bustle of life that so many of us lives today.

Once I got in town, and all of the traffic showed up as being bumper to bumper... the only thing you can do is give 150% attention to what is going on around you. I am not sure how long I was in this line of traffic.. it seemed like only a few cars got through the light before it changed to red. But that could have been me and being impatient!

Finally, I was about the third car back away from the traffic light, which meant, I would was next to go through the light. What a relief (I thought)!! The first two cars in front went through the light and right as I was getting ready to pull out into the main road, I felt this HARD force on my leg pushing it down on the break pedal. I honestly could not move my leg at ALL!!

Trying to figure out what in the world was going on. I lifted my head up and seen this white pickup truck speeding through the red light; right in front of my car!! (This gives me chills just writing it out again!) I honestly feel like a part of me went into shock.. as soon as the pickup sped by me, the pressure was released from my leg and I was able to proceed through the light!

In Shock

Once I was able to drive across the street, it took everything I had to pull into a shopping center parking lot, stop and cry like a baby! I know I will never be able to write out the experience so you could feel what I felt that morning, it is just one of those unexplainable things in life.

As I sat there crying, I could still feel the imprint on my leg where it was being held down on the break pedal. It felt like the after effects of a bee sting... sort of like a buzzing hot feeling. I remember sitting there in my car shaking. It honestly felt like my skeleton was trying to jump out of my skin. After a few minutes when I feel like I came out of shock.. all I could do was sit there and shake my head in disbelief.

Once I pulled myself together and got to work, I went into the restroom to see if there was a mark on my leg, and believe it or not, there was a red area. However, when I seen the redness, I had to stop and think, perhaps it was red because I was unconsciously rubbing my leg? I am not sure what the true answer would be on that... I just know my leg was a little red, but the buzzing hot feeling finally left!

To be very honest, there is no way of proving exactly what happened that morning, to me it was an Angels Hand. I will not doubt that, nor question the thought to pieces. If that would had been my first experience, perhaps I would have thought differently, but it wasn't. I have had supernatural things happen to me since I was a very young child.

All of my experiences has lead me on a life's journey in exploring different things with the paranormal. No, I am not a ghost buster, No I do not belong to any paranormal team, as with most things in my life, I study, research and find my own answers alone.

If I have learned nothing in my life, the one thing that has always remained with me is, Our Hearts Do Not Lie To Us!! I am not talking about the heart that can fall in love and feel nothing but flutters.. I am talking deep inside our hearts heart. I suppose it could be our intuition, whatever you want to call it... that part of our self will not lie to us, and mine says it was an Angels Hand that early summer morning in Georgia.

Do you believe in Angels?
