Father , When You Awaken Me In The Middle Of The Night

Updated on December 13, 2012

Father In The Middle Of The Night

So many times You have awakened me

With words that I know I must write.

Then thoughts,dreams and prayers

Come in the middle of the night.

Maybe at times to say , "Thank You"

For all the things You have done,

To remind me You have many children

And to Thank You, Lord, that I am one.

To remind me where You found me,

To where I could have been today.

Often just to thank You for gifts

You have sent to me along the way.

Sometimes I need to be reminded

Of where I was at the very start,

And of love for many lost ones still

And the peace that's within my heart.

For the many years You've given me

To learn of Your Sweet Peace and Light.

These are the random thoughts I have

When I awake in the middle of the night.

By Clara Kish

I am coming back after having cataracts

removed from both eyes. It is so good to be

be able to see again and to be able to read.

I hope that I can send some poems to you

that will help you in what ever way that you

need. I was so glad when I came back and

saw many new followers that I have , Thank

you to all of you . I really appreciate you ,.

Love you all., clara

Thank you ,Mother Wisdom for your comment. That is usually the time that The Lord wakes me up with something to write. sometimes it is kind of hard to get up and get started but if I don't do it I will forget it by morning, You know God never sleeps but some of these human beings do.LOL Clara

Late night/early morning is the best time to spend with the LORD. There are no distraction---good, full, quality, and intimate time! Thank you Clara.

Yes ,I had cataract surgery and I was so amazed when I came home , the pans and silverware all seemed so small.even my large size eggs seems so little I did not realize my glasses were so strong until then. It took a while to get used to it . At least I can see now . sure am thankful for that. I didn't realize that I was so blind till I had it done. Thank God that it is such a simple surgery now , not what they used to have to go through love,Cherry

In The Middle Of The Night, Very good! I like it! I have never heard God speak in an AUDIABLE VOICE but I wish He would as I could maybe, understand better that way what He wants me to do.

So you had cateract surgery? I did too, just recently. I had both eyes done. Wasn't a bad surgery at all. it helped me tremendously. I can now read and type my email and on here without glasses. Before surgery, without glasses, I could not see the features of a person clearly across the room. It was just looking through a camera out of focus. Thank God, I can see to write this without glasses. People look clearly in my vision without glasses. I think there should be a Poem called, "Without Glasses." I love you my friend, Tessie

Hello Blossom. I am sorry to hear all of the trouble you have with your eyes. Did you have cataracts? I had them removed from both eyes and so far they are good. If they won't I would not be able to be on here. I had to take time off . I turned the internet off and then had my eye surgery , one at a time.I pray that God will touch your eyes and have no more trouble.keep in touch. Love.clara

That's a wonderful result! Almost two years later I have three pairs of glasses and have had innumerable tests as to why my vision intermittently goes blurry. I hope they find the reason soon and it can be rectified. So glad it has worked for you.
