Definition of the word Violence: A physical force used to injure, damage or destroy, physical altercation.

Genesis chapter 6 - 11 : The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.

Psalms chapter 11 - 5 : The Lord trieth the righteous; but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

Psalms chapter 55 - 9 : Destroy, O Lord, and divide their tongues' for I have seen violence and strife in the city.

Psalms chapter 72 - 14 :He shall Redeem their soul from deceit and violence:and precious shall their blood be in his sight.

Psalms 73 - 6 : Therefore pride compasseth them about as a chain; violence covereth them as a garment.

Proverbs chapter 10 - 6 : Blessings are upon the head of the just: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked.

Today's Daily Words of encouragement word is Violence:  The word violence conjuresup all kinds of negative connotations, because violence is bad. Violence is associated with bodily harm, or in danger of being hurt or killed, it's also damages caused by brutal force.  There' s nothing good about violence, in fact it is the worse thing the children of God can have in their lives at any time. Any kind of violence is a detriment to the living, so, we should avoid any kind of violence at all cost.

Violence is tied to wickedness and the bible said it want be heard of again in the land, which means that it's part of Satan; and we alol can live very well without Satanand his violence. We should all pray and ask God to keep us from being involved with any kind of violence against our fellow man, because violence is not of God.

      Violence is all about us. I PRAY THAT God will keep america safe, and pray for our president. The world is so full of hate.

      Violence is something everyone in our society is well familiar with as we are sadly confronted with it everyday.

      I agree that for Christians, non-violence is our stance regardless of the violence that may be perpetrated upon us. As ML King said, returning violence for violence multiplies violence.
