Today's daily words of encouragement word for today is Comforter. I think before Jesus ascended unto heaven, he had mercy on us and prayed to God for a comforter for us , because he knew we would be in need of one. God being a compassinate and merciful God; sent us the holy spirit as comforter, to console our minds, body and souls. When we are in pain, or sorrow, or grief and confusion, our comforter is there to console and comfort us in our hour of need. God also send people to console us;have you ever been in a bad place of the mind and your pain was so great that you didn't know what to do about it: and all of a sudden there's this person that comes into your life out of no where to listen to you and consoles your pain and wipe your tears away, because they care about you.
If we have any discernment at all , we will realize that this person is sent of God; to show us love and compassion. A comforter is a gift from God and Jesus: and we should except this gift graciously and thank God for it. Jesus in his true love and compassion for us, wanted us to have a comforter until he returned to us, so the comforter is with us still: we only have to reach out to it. it's there for the taking.
