"Faye's Daily Words Of Encouragement # 178 Today's Woprd Is : Quench"

Definition of the word Quench: Means to end or extinquish; to moisten or drench, to satisfy thirst.

Songs of Solomon chapter 8 - 7 : Many waters cannot quench love, neither can floods drown it: if a man would give all the substance of his house for love , it would utterly be condemned.

Isaiah chapter 34 - 10 : It shall not be quenched by night nor by day; the smoke thereof shall go up forever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through forever and ever.

Isaiah chapter 66 - 24 : And they shall go forth and look upon the carcases of the men that  have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die neither shall their fire be quenched, and they shall be abhorring unto all flesh.

Mark chapter 9 - 44 : Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

Ephesians chapter 6 - 16 : Above taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all fiery darts of the wicked.

1 Thessalonians chapter 5 - 19 : Quench not the spirit.

Hebrews chapter 11 -- 34 : Quench the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, wax valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.

Psalms chapter 104 _ 11 : They give drink to every beast of the field: the wild asses quench their thirst.

Today's daily words of encouragement word is Quench:  To quench  to extinguish or put out something. Quench also means to satisfy a thirst  something. The bible tells us to quench the violence of the fire, to put out the flames that burn. The bible also tell us not to quench the fire of the spirit.  By using the all powerful shield of faith, we are able to quench the fiery darts of Satan and wickedness.

The Songs of Solomon Say many waters can not quench it.neither can floods drown it. So love is all powerful and ever lasting. We cannot quench our emotions, even though sometimes we try really hard to do so.  Our thirst for  the wisdom and knowledge of God cannot be quench by anyone.
