Definition of the word Visit: To go and see someone, a short stay as a guest, cause or be rewarded, or affliction, or punishment.
Genesis chapter 50 - 24 : And Jospeh said unto his brethren, I die: and God will surely visit you, and bring you out of this land unto the land unto the land which he sware to Abraham unto Issac, and Jacob.
Exodus chapter 20 - 5 : Thou shalt n ow bow down thyself to them, noe serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon their children unto the third generation of them that hate me.

Today's daily Words of encouragement word is Visit: To visit means to go and see someone.. God pays us visits through our prayers, favors, affliction, and punishment. We also suppose visit the sick and shut - in, and if we aren't doing it we should start. The bible tells us that the iniquity of the fathers can be visited upon the children unto the third generation, that though along is very scary for us.
A visitation is going to see someone sick, shut -in and in need of a friend,or someone in jail or someone needing spiritual guidance . We all need spirit guidance from God our father. So, if the bible tells us to visit the widows and the fatherless, we should do even better than that by visiting the elderly, that doesn't have family to come and visit them. I'm sure your and your efforts will be apprciated, if n ot by the elderly, than by Jesus Christ our Saviour.
