"Faye's Daily Words Of Encouragement # 196 Today's Word Is : Affection "
Definition of the word Affection: Good or kind feelings for another; a fondness for anything, or feelings for someone,or love toward another.
Romans chapter 1 - 26 : For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature.
chapter 1 - 31 : Without understanding , covenant breakers, without natural affections , implicable, unmerciful.
Romans chapter 12 - 10 : be kindly affectioned one to annother with brotherly love , in honour preferring one an other.
Galatians chapter 5 - 24 : And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lust.
Colossians chapter 3 - 2 : Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

Today's daily words of encouragement word is Affection: We as parent have natural unadulterated feelings and affections for our children and we as children of God should have the same unadulterated affections for our brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus. we all have to mortify our members , here on earth and discipline ourselves against fornication, uncleanness and inordinate affections and idolatry.
We have to crucify our flesh and lust of the flesh with the affections and love of Jesus. God 's affection for us is natural and pure, and we should give and recieve the same affections toward one another in God's eyes. We should all make godly sure that the affections we're giving to one another is godly and pure, and not vile or unnatural.
