Defintion of the word Consolation: To comfort someone or to sooth from grief. a reward for who participate in a contest but doesn't win.
Job chapter 15 - 11 : Are the consolation of God small with thee, is there any secret thing with thee.
Luke chapter 6 - 24 : But woe unto you that are rich for ye received your consolation.
Romans chapter 15 - 5 : Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus.

It can also mean a consolation reward because you didn't win the major prize. we all need consolations at some times in our lives, whether it's because of grief or sorrow, we all need encouragement to uplift our spirits. Just as God consoles us , when we're going through trials and tribulations , we also need to console our brothers and sisters in Christ.
So, if you see someone in sorrow or pain, go to them and give them consolations and the word of God, which will help them through the storms of life. sometimes, we need to be comforted, and consoled if we're in pain, sometime, just one word can lift us up. S, when you see a brother or sister in need of a encouraging word, console them with the word of God.
