 Definition of the word Last : Means the end or at the end; the last place, the only one left.

Numbers chapter 23 - 10 : Who can count the dust of Jacob, and the number of the the fourth part of Israel, let me die the death of the righteous and let my last end be like this.

Proverbs chapter 23 - 32 :A the last it biethet like a serpent and stingeth like an adder.

Matthews chapter 12 - 45 : again ,the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls.

Matthews 20 -16 : So, the last shall be first and the first shall be last: for many be called but few chosen.

John chapter 6 - 39 : And this is the fathers will which hath sent me, that of all which hath given me, I should raise it up again at the last day.

Today's   daily words of encouragement word is Last: Which means the last one stranding, or the last rites, or the last run, or the last time for what ever action we're contemplating. The bible tells us, that those that are first, will be last and those that are last shall e first, so that biblical verse should give us all something to think about. In our society, no one wants to be last because everyone wants to be first. People don't realize that in order to be first we have go through something to be first, it's not just handed to us.

When children play games with each other, everyone wants to be first, and none of them want to be last.  I think we only accept being  last, if we're in a line where bad thinbgs are happening, then we will be glad to be last, Everyone of us, want to be last for the bad stuff only, but if it's the good stuff, guess what? we want to be first in line to get the goodies. When Jesus come back to this earth, all the dead in Christ will be raised from the dead to get God's given promise,because they didn't live to get it. If we have been last all our lives, then we can be first when Jesus comes back again, but we must live our lives according to his word.
