Definition of the word Shed: Means to pour forth, as tears, to radiate, tto repel,to cast off by natural process, as a snake's skin. to explain and make clear.
Genesis chapter 9 - 6 : whoso sheddeth man's blood, for in the image of God, made he man.
Matthews chapter 26 - 28 : For this my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sin.
Romans chapter 5 - 5 : And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the holy ghost which is given unto us.
Titujs chapter 3 - 6 : which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour.
Hebrews chapter 9 - 22 : And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and with out shedding of blood is no remission.
Today's daily words of encouragement word is Shed: Which means to pour forth, as tears, to radiate, or to repel, to cast off, the sun shed it's rays. To cast off natural process; as a snake sheds it's skin, also to get rid of: to explain and make clear. The bible tells us that Jesus shed his blood for us on the cross. Jesus shed his blood for the remission of our sins.
The children of God can shed our evil and wicked way by letting go of self. Just like the snake,we can shed our sins and iniquites, and be clean and pure by the remission of our sins. If Jesus shed his precious blood for us, we should be able to shed something of ourselves, for the good of Jeus Christ our Lord and Saviour.
