Today's daily words of encouragement word Is Neighbor: which means one who live near or a home near you, or a home adjacent to you or situated near you. The bible says " Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man with his neighbor: for we are members one of another.

The bible talks a lot about our loving our neighbors and treating them as ourselves. Being a neighbor is really important to God, but even more important for us to love our neighbors and treat them as though we would treat ourselves, there is no reason to lie or hurt our neighbors if treat them as ourselves. Loving our neighbor consist of feeding him if he is hungry, giving him drink when he is thirsty, giving clothes when he doesn't have anything to wear and taking him in when he doesn't have any where to stay. Loving our neighbor is giving him a hand up and not a hand out.

Personally I steer clear of my neighbors. Too many are nosy and gossipy with agendas on how to keep up with or be "the Jones".

Life is complicated enough without distractions of no consequence. I treat my neighbors with a long handled spoon and luckily they do the same.

I can only repeat Raymond Tremain's words but love they neighbors is mention in any religion and does not necessary mean the immediate neighbor but anybody next to you. To me it means to love the people we are surrounded by. I wish, wish to God people would listen and practice their religion. That is what the religion and teaching is for and not chanting and singing and then go and do everything what God forbidden.

Well this is telling them, and as many do say who is my neighbor, and I wonder how many really know the next door neigbhor, back in the older days everybody knew each other but now today know one knows anybody anymore, so for many "love thy neigbhor" would be very hard thing to do.

      God loves all

I have had a few good neighbors in recent years. The man across the street often helps me with tasks that I cannot do. A next door neighbor where I used to work was often offering his help. One of the best neighbors was not a someone kiving by me but a fellow worker who when I was hospitalized. Her whole family came and shoveled our driveway, and we had a lot of snow that year. They also did shopping for my wife and even helped walk our dog.
