Definition of the word Pardon: Which means forgiveness, as from punishment for a crime your or for a social blunder or to release from punishment or free from penalty.
Exodus chapter 23 - 21 : Beware of him and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions; for my name is In him.
2 Chronicles chapter 30 - 18 : For a multitude of the people, even many of Ephesians and manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulon, had not cleanesed themselves, yet did they eat the passover otherwise than it was written. But Hezekiah prayed for them. saying, the good Lord, pardon every one.

The bible tells us "Let the wicked forsake his way and the righteous man his thoughts and let him return unto the Lord and he will have mercy upon him and to own God, for he will abundantly pardon" which means to forsake or stop doing all manner of evil doings and let the righteous man forsake his thoughts and return unto the Lord; and the Lord will abundantly pardon us for our sins and forsake us not.
