Definition of the words Pacify: Which means to ease anger or conflict or to make calm or to placate or appease someone, or something.

Proverb chapter 16 - 14 : The wrath of a king is as messengers of deat: but a wise man will pacify it.

Proverbs chapter 21 - 14 : A gift in secret pacifieth anger: and a reward in the bosom strong wrath.

Ecclesiastes chapter 10 - 4 : If the spirit of the ruler rise up against thee, leave not thy place; for yielding pacifieth great offences.

Today's daily word of encouragement word is Pacify: Which means to ease anger and conflict or to make calm, to placate or to appease someone or something.  We use pacifiers to calm down our babies and make them happy and content. We pacify our loved ones,if they're upset or angry with us, so we do or say things to calm them down  or to pacify or appease them. The bible tells us that " the wrath of king is a messenger of death: but a wise man will pacify it" Which means the anger of a king will kill you, but a wise man appease or calm down the wrath of someone.
