Patience is being content in times of trouble or tribulations.

"Faye;s daily words of encouragement" # 84 Todays word is : Patience"

Defintion of the word Patirence: Bearing pain or trials without complainting, being content in times of tribulations.

James chapter 5 - 11 : Behold. we count them happy which endure.  Ye have heard of patience of job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercies.

Hebrews  chapter 12 - 1 :   wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a  witness, let us lat  aside every weight  and the sin, which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race  that is set before us.

James chapter 1 -3 : Knowing this, that  the trying of your faith  patience.

Romans chapter 5 - 3 : And not only so, but we glory  in tribulations  also;  knowing that tribulations worketh patience.

Hebrews chapter 10 - 36 : For ye have need of patience that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might recieve promise.

Brothers and sisters in Christ, in order for us to have patience; we have to have tolerance, because without it, we will all falter at patience.  If we have tolerance ; then patience want be a problem.  Patience is being able to tolerate situations and circumstances; that present itself in our lives.  Patience is being still and praying about the matter and having faith that God will bring us through even this.  There's nothing in our lives; that's to tough for God to handle, no matter how big it is.   We have to remember, when we pray an d ask God for help, that our time and his times are two different times, but his answer to pray is always on time.

Because we want something done right away; doesn't mean it will happen, when we want it to, just know that \God will work it for you, one way or another.  We have to have  faith and patience to ride out the circumstances; but we have to know by the grace of God,  even this shall pass.  If we can go through it and endure it; only means that our patience has brought us through the trials and the tribulations that we have encountered in our lives.  Sometimes we have to ask for ask God for patience; if we don'[t have any, and always remember to say to yourself, Peace be Still, when we going through something, it always seem to calm the nerves.

Yes, it is time to calm down and be patient - it helps us to better handle a situation - with intelligence rather than anger.

The nice thing about getting older is that you begin to realize there is little to get upset over - handle the situation and move on.

And by being calm and patient I seem to attract more good things.

Thanks for the hub. I will have a day filled with patience!
