I will call this painting my color of praises.
I will call this painting my color of praises.

"Faye's daily words encouragement" # 13 Today word is: Praise

Psalms chapter 63 - verse 3 : Because they loving kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee

Psalms chapter 72 - 15 : And he shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba: prayer also shall be made for him; and daily shall he be praised.

Psalms chapter 71 - verse 14 : But I will hope continually , and will yet praise thee more and more.

Definition of the word Praise: An expression of admiration or approval to express approval of; or to honor or glorify as a god.

Every day of our lives, we all should have words of praise for God the father in heaven. God can never get enough of our  praises  from us. God is just like us,when it comes to praises, he also enjoys praises. We should wake up in the morning; praising him for all of goodness he has bestows upon us every day of our lives. Praising him should be the last thing, we do at night before we go to bed at night.

We all praise sports, and any and everything in our lives,  but sometimes we forget to praise God for being the keeper of our life, and being the answer to every one of our prayers. I want God to know each and every day; How grateful I am, for his love and care. Sometimes I falter along the way because I'm human, but I ask his forgiveness for my forgetfulness, and praise his name just the same. Holy Father in heaven, I praise your holy name; glory be to you ; I praise thee.

      Creativeone59,

You are so right. I start each day with "This is the DAY that the LORD has MADE, let us REJOICE and be glad in it."

Putting God first will help you how to treat and love others!

      Blessings

You are so right, we tend to praise tangible things like people (i.e. movie stars, sports stars, music stars), educated men and women, or politicans, and forget about who gave them thier talents - GOD! I think it's easy to do since we can see and touch these things, whereas it takes more effort to praise someone we can't see (although we can see him through his creations).
