"Faye's daily words of encouragement" # 16 Todays word is: Reap
Definition of he word Reap: means to harvest, to gain, as a reward for effort.
Psalms 126 - 5 : They that sow in tears, shall reap in joy.
Galations Chapter 6 - 7 : Be not decieved, God is not mocked : whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
1 Corintians chapter 9 - 11 : If we have sown unto spiritual things, is it a great thing, if we shall reap your carnal things.
We all work for a harvest, like the crops of the field for our souls salvation, doing the right things in the eyes of Jesus. I was born from parent of a religious background, that taught us that we reap what we sow; in layman term , that means what ever we do in life; will return to us. I really try to live my life accordingly. Our actions says a lot about our character, so if we're out in the world raising cane, or making it hard on our brothers and sisters in christ; then we should get ready for our reward, we can only get back what we have given out.
If we're giving out heartaches and pain, then be assured that we will reap; exactly the same in return. I know that God's words doesn't lie, so brothers and sisters in Christ: we should make it up in our hearts and mind, to do the right things in life. we should practice doing the right things each and every day of our lives; so, ensure that we will reap, blessings of continous joy and God's great abundance in our lives.
