"Faye's daily words of encouragement" # 62 Todays word is : Teach"

we all should teach the true word of God.
we all should teach the true word of God.

"Faye'sdaily words of encouragement" # 62 Todays word is: Teach"

Definition of the wprd Teach: To provide instructions, to teach others, to train the mind , to act as teachers.

Psalms chapter 25 - 8 : Good and upright is the Lord , therefore will he teach sinners in the way. 9:The meek will guide in judgement and the meek will he teach his ways.

1 Corinthians chapter 4 - 17 : For this cause have I sent unto you Timothesus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you in to remembrance for my ways which be in Christ as I teach everywhere in every church.

Colossians chapter 1 -28 : Whom we   preach, warning  every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.

1 Timothy chapter 1 - 3 : As I besought thee  to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctyrine.

2 Timothy chapter 2 - 2 : And things that thou hast heard of me among many witness, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

We that are the true children of God, and  we are suppose to try and teach other sinners the way they should go, but this isn't an easy task; because you have people that will listen and those that want, but if we as children of God teach God's true gospel, that 's all that God requires of us.   We cannot make people listen or learn , that's totally on them.

We are required to teach God's true doctrine and not the doctrines of men.  We as children of God have to study and search out God's true word, so we don't teach worldly dogmas, untrue doctrines.  we don't want to be a party to misleading , or misguiding Gods sheep; because the bible tells us : Woe be unto you who mislead my sheep;  this is a curse that I don't think any of us want to be a part of.  If we can't teach God's word in honest and in truth, then we should teach at all.

This is so true. I think in Job it states; that we are not required to harvest all the wheat. One thing the Lord allows us is true freedom of choice. You either follow the word or don't, and you can't get any better than that.

Blessings to you and yours cretiveone59

It's true, teaching others about the word of God is not easy. But as you stated, the first step involves studying his word ourselves so that we can be well-equipped to teach others. And since "all scripture is inspired by God" - it is truly "beneficial for teaching, for reproving, (and) for setting things straight" - 2Tim.3:16 Thanks for the timely reminder.
